Excellent choice of music for it. T.A.T.U. may be a not so well known group, but their music is honestly perfect for a Daria music video. I normally don't watch non Anime Music Videos outside of official stuff for bands, but I'm glad I did.

I don't think fans of Daria/Western animation really get what shipping or fan pairings are. And just to put it out there, i have only started to watch this show but even i was aware well before i seen the show that Jane is a gay icon. Jus' sayin'.

(Daria wouldn't have been crushing on Trent and Tom, despite knowing it was a terrible idea, and Jane is very quick to pursue guys she likes and to stop when they piss her off whatever the social consequences, which doesn't fit with not being attracted in the first place) But seriously, Is it fall yet was awful. It felt like the writers got a note from the studio saying "make people stop speculating our characters are anything but straight" (They also showed Quinn being actually attracted to a guy for once). And to do it, they created their one non-straight character, and made her a hypocritical sexual predator. This in a show that treated Upchuck and Tommy Sherman as merely annoying and rude respectively.
I love lesbians as much as everybody else does but daria just looks so much better in love with trent... But jane would have definitely come out of the closet eventually, she just needed one or two more seasons to be ready. I could bet anything she was in love with quinn..
She was never a lesbian/bi quit it. She didn't even break up with men, it was usually the other way around. They also addressed it in the movie "Daria: Is It Fall Yet?" Concluding the fact that Jane is straight. Stop making up a whole other story.
