Hi Canon Support -- I have run into an issue where even after successfully connecting my TS6400 printer to my local WiFi network, my computer is still unable to connect to it so I decided to remove the printer configuration from my computer and to reinstall it like a new user. Now when I get to the step where I download the "win-ts6400-1_1-n_mcd.exe" and try to run it -- even as an Administrator -- I get an error telling me "To install the software, you must be logged in to an administrator account." Is there any workaround to this? (I AM already an Administrator on this computer). Thanks!

Do I have to do this everytime I want to print? Or when it gets kicked off of WiFi?

mine says it isn’t a Microsoft verified app
getting a "this program is not supported by this computer" error. i have a samsung galaxy book go laptop that runs on mobile network. i've tried connecting it just like i would a smartphone with direct connect and it still wants to install drivers. but i cannot install them due to the error message

This wouldn't download to my Mac. I tried the file 3 times and nothing would happen after pressing "download." My boyfriend has a Windows and had no issue. Frustrating me, but the printer is great so far
Hi, Hannah! We recommend trying the download on a different browser. If it still doesn't happen, you can use your boyfriend's computer to save the files appropriate your version of macOS onto a flash drive and you can then run the setup files on your Mac from that flash drive.

Canon why is it so difficult to connect those printers, no instructions down in the box? So you would think it’s super user friendly and easy plug and use well nope! It’s a complete mess doesn’t pair easily or successfully with Apple products and connecting to the router Wi-Fi is a nightmare. Overall I was very excited to print documents for work and big bust NO Star out of 5.
Stick to making camera glass (sometimes)
This is such BS. I have to take 45 minutes everytime I need to print. SIck of it! What a freaking wast eoif money and my time! I should be able to hit "PRINT" and get my document within a minute. So sad that I have to jump through all of these hoops.

@@CanonUSASupport I have done exactly that three times. It's a merry go 'round doing that. It never gets resolved -unless, of course, as I was told, restart my WiFi. Seriously? Every time? I don't have time for this. Sorry but this thing is a piece of junk. Thanks for your timely reply. I wish this thing could print as fast as responded!

Maybe have a giant Bluetooth button labeled Bluetooth and no one will need support and you won’t have to waste money on these videos
They print with WiFi.

Don't even try to work with this printer it's a piece of crap just throw it away it's not worth $100 you paid for it your time is more valuable get a different printer get rid of the TS6420 it will waste more of your time than $100
