excellent! There must be 100 videos on the p0480 code but you are the first one to note that hidden relay. I have a 2009 Sedona with two fans. My code says fan1 control circuit. I tested the fans individually with two wires and alligator clips hooked to the battery and they worked. My fuses were good and the coolant temp switch has to be good if fan 2 was running. I was about to go spend 200 bucks for the controller when I saw your video. The relay is 18 bucks. Nice work.
Thank you so much for putting this video on UA-cam you helped me very much to fix my van I have the same color the only thing I put a lot of work into it so I'm happy thank you so much
i believe ground or some other issue causes the smallest connector to burn out inside only metal is left. So before buying a controler check that first. replacing that connector will help but try to trace ground issue because it will happen again
Everyone ; first check that wiring harness is not touching thermostat housing or its bolts . If bundle of wires gets too hot it will melt wire coating inside of the harness covering and cause shorted wires that may not show on outside of harness. If harness is touching bolt head open harness cover there to fix Wires
Ok I watched your video. I was getting the same code P0480. I had the exact same problem as you. The connector for the AC relay was corroded with some sticky substance. I used electrical cleaner to clean it and the code went away. A week later, the code P0480 came back. Cleaned the connector again and a few days later the same code came back. What's the problem now?
Hey how are you? I know this video is old, but I was wondering if you have a part number to the cable plug you're holding at 3 minutes 22 seconds or if you can point me in the right direction to find it. Thanks in advance.
i have the same van with overheating issue when in traffic but i didnt have a check engine light on. also i took out that relay it looks gooey like the one you showed. did u ever figure out the issue?
That is simple to change but you show us like something complicated ...show us what to change and how to change !!! You show us nothing , just some story !!!
