When I wrestled, we couldn't wear tee shirts. The concern was over fingers being tangled and injured. There doesn't seem to be a similar regulation about managing long hair(?) and for the same reason(s). It seemed to be an issue a couple of times in this match.

Girl have their own bracket and can choose to wrestle boys too. At this age and weight it is common. It is perfectly fair. Some girls out there are strait up assassins on the mat
The ref was awful and lazy. When the girl was pulling the boy’s hair and the girl got hurt, the ref took way too long to respond to make sure that she was all right and well. In amateur sports, especially when it comes to children, we need better arbiters and refs who are in shape and have good judgment to protect participants, especially children.

Wrestling 101: don’t ride too high. Someone with even a little experience will make you pay for that mistake. Really good on those cradles though 👍
