I'm right with you ladies. Stress really brings on a hot flash. I can be discussing something with my husband and if the conversation is about a situation in our family that's an issue, I immediately go into a flash. Then I have to leave the room and go outside where it's cool or cold, to get relief. Of course the hubby thinks I'm escaping the conversation by leaving, ...lol..but no, I just can't stand there dripping wet and suffering trying to concentrate on the conversation. It's miserable. When I DO have a night sweat, I'm dripping wet and FREEZING while I'm SO HOT at the same time! I really don't want to go on estrogen, I just want it to stop! I also have restless leg syndrome so I spend most nights jumping and dripping wet. I have thought I will never get true relief until I pass.
Imagine how many hundreds of millions of women lost out on a job promotion and/or raise etc. to a man because she had a hot flash at an inopportune time when she needed to come across as calm, cool and skilled (but couldn’t).
@@roisindubh1883 I started using progesterone cream and it’s really helping a lot. My gynecologist also recommended Venlafaxine for hot flashes which I may try but the progesterone cream seems to be working.

Why is it always advised to have a cold bedroom. My foot only has to touch a cold patch and it triggers a hot drench! Any kind of temperature fluctuation triggers the sweats. Absolute torture.

You are probably hot flashing and sweating. Then you cool off and are cold because you are wet. At least that's how it works for me. Have to change clothes and bedding sometimes more than once...
it is so strange they are using the word "motor" about the symptoms, coz when my colleague explained for me her feelings I kept thinking of a motor taking off it is movements in the body

I'd love to know more about this medicine, and if it is indeed available.thank you

All these women look like they’re over 45. I’m sure they’re going through it! Why don’t they talk about what they go through and what they do and stop acting like they’re not pre-menopausal or menopausal they’re almost acting like they’re talking about another species and not themselves it’s weird.
