    I do this in China with my Rolleiflex TLR. The success rate is high because it's an old camera, but when in touristy places, I do feel like in Times Square, many nervously reject the request because they are slightly suspicious there's some sort of scam (happens much less in non-touristy areas). Somehow the challenge is to convince them it is not a scam but when you try too hard to do that, you sound like a scammer. I've also had some painful rejections and sometimes question whether I could have tried harder to get to yes. Anyway, I loved the pictures, really inspiring. Thanks for the great video.

    The shot of the girl reading is nice. The suited kid I feel it would be cool if the scaffolding cover stuff ran over the edges of the frame - that would be a surreal, almost studio-like shot … but I appreciate it isn’t simple with the WLF, you can’t always get close and level without standing on a chair 🪑 lol

    as a lifelong New Yorker who remembers the old Times Square I am not particularly fond of the Times Square area these days. Too many people! Great if one is into people watching. Funny because about 6 or 7 blocks north from where you were is a music club where I am the house photographer.

      not much coloring at all after letting negative lab pro do the negative conversion

    Nice video. Bought a 124g in brand new boxed condition for €150 which I thought was a pretty good deal. May I as what light meter you use and do you trust the in camera light meter? My hands start itching to use it when I see your results. Thanks!
