I use wax or parchment paper on the tops of cabinets, that way whenever they get really dirty and grimy I just remove the old wax paper and put fresh paper on. I also throw the range vent in the dishwasher, it gets it nice and clean. I love your kitchen! Have a blessed week. - Arlene

Great motivation. I use to always use foil in the oven and I had stopped after the last huge mess I had to scrub out of it it now has foil it’s so much easier 💕

When my daughters were little we also kept our medicine in the kitchen. Really enjoyed the video.🙂
I know I’m kinda late to the party on this but I’ve learned the hard way that lining the bottom with foil can cause heat damage to the oven. As an alternative it’s ok to use it in the bottom rack rather than on the bottom.
Just trying to save anyone from having to buy a new oven!

We keep our medicine in the top cupboard in the kitchen also It works for us.. also with the over view of your beautiful clean kitchen the cupboard where you keep the pots and pans stacked on top of each other ( mind used to be like this also lol 😆) a handy hint I learned was turn the lids upside down so the pots and pan stacked on each other.. 😉😊

Kitchen looks great hun. Nice video i clean behind stove when i remember to get someone to help. At 64 and disabled can not clean like i use to. I had bad ocd in my younger days.and cleaned all the time. But all i can do is wish i could do what all i want to now. Thanks hun.❤

I’ve had many people tell me that they put the microwave filter(s) in their diwshawasher and they actually are squeaky clean.

For an all purpose cleaner, you could try the Grove Collaborative concentrates. I love the orange & rosemary scent and the lavender is nice too

They say those car mitts from the Dollar Tree work great for blinds. I am going to try them. I usually use a sock to get to each blade. Or use my feather duster just to get the dust off.

I definitely need to declutter my kitchen. I have things I never even use. As for cleaning behind my stove, I’m only going to clean it because we are in the process of buying a new one. I don’t want to scare the delivery guy who is removing the old one to put the new one in with the nasty filth. Lol. I’m with you guys. I have a bin with the medicines in my kitchen cabinet. My family does the same thing. I thought that was the norm.
The process isn't fun, but it always feels soooo good afterwards. Love having everything clean and so organized ❤

Putting vinegar and baking soda inside the dish washer once a month helps to keep it clean it would also help to add a little bleach to keep the mold away
KARRIE, Your so amazing, 💖💖. I clean behind and under my stove and fridge about every 3 or so months maybe less time, but its pretty often. You house is always so pretty. Keep up the good work. Obtw, my house is just right down the road, well a few states away, anytime you wanna come and clean or decorate or do laundry, had to say it I know you love the laundry. Ok that was all just me being funny. 😁😁💖🎀
We keep our medicine in the kitchen as well. It’s a lot handier.
I think I clean under my appliances four times a year. Every season. I’m older, have no little ones at home so I have more time. 😊
Use some TSP to clean the grease, it melts away. Wear gloves though it’s hard on your skin. I don’t clean under and behind the stove and refrigerator very often. Maybe 2-3 times a year. I pull out the bottom drawer on my stove to sweep under it a little more often though.😉
I’m sorry the Endust didn’t work for you. I guess what works for one doesn’t work for everybody. I really enjoyed watching you clean and declutter your kitchen. You have really been a cleaning machine lately. Watching others clean helps me to clean my own house. Have a great week🥰

I've always kept our meds in the kitchen too! We keep the regularly used ones (vitamins, headache meds and the kids epi pens) in a large basket up on top of the fridge (that's not see through). We keep more dangerous meds in the cabinets above the fridge. We should probably clean behind our stove by now (oops...been a year since we moved in and who knows if the older couple that lived here ever did)!

Hi Karrie 😊 I have a suggestion for cleaning your stainless steel that I swear by, it's the only thing I have used for the last 7 years. WD40. Seriously, spray it on and wipe with a paper towel. It leaves a nice shiny finish behind and you will be surprised by the dirt it pulls off.

For cleaning your stainless steel, we had an appliance repair man once recommend WD-40... I thought that would be a complete mess but surprisingly, it worked really well! Doesn’t smell as nice as other products but it might help your stubborn areas.
Hi Karrie, I usually clean behind my cooker, washer, dishwasher etc about once a month, I have had a frozen shoulder since August so not been able to do it so I am definately going to be grossed out lol. Love your videos xx

I agree about cleaning products, I’ve tried Mrs Meyers and I don’t really care for them. Never used Jaws. Ive been in my house 3 years and haven’t cleaned under stove. 😳

Just thought I'd suggest you get Krud Kutter for tough messes. Its amazing. Anytime I cant get a mess up with my normal cleaner, I use it and its amazing. Its at Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot
We keep our vitamins and medicine in our kitchen too :)
I use disinfecting wipes on my kitchen window sink blinds. I found with those you don't have to apply hardly any pressure on the blinds when trying to clean them.

I agree I also use pine glow , I find the Mrs Myers or Jaws is just an expensive but not good quality cleaner. Thanks for keeping things honest 🙂

I also love the lemon Fabuloso, smells sooooo good and is $1 at Dollar General and Dollar Tree. They have other scents as well.

@@sandyhayre188 it says multi purpose cleaner and the pictures on the bottle, one shows a dining table and chairs so I would say yes. I think I have used it on my table and didn’t have any issues. I mix it with water. I definitely have used it on my counters and floors and I love it.

I actually just asleep my husband is he could pull out the oven for me when spring cleaning week starts. We've been in this housealmost a year and this is the first time I'll be doing it 😬

Am I the only one thinking all that precious wasted space next to the stove? The builder/flipper should of made that usable space. I would be thinking of ways to use that space lol.
Our Graceful I agree, the builder/ flipper could have put in a pantry cabinet next to the refrigerator, or close to the back door and placed cabinets all the way around. But when they are redoing or building homes, it's all about cost.
@@nae1470 oh I know. I added 2 cabinets to my builder grade kitchen. But that is blank wasted space because they tried to save a couple hundred.

Oh man! Pulling out the oven!! We’ve only lived in our new build for 4 months now and I am betting that there is sooo much dog hair under my appliances seeing what I vacuum up daily🤮 we have a 6 burner gas range so it’s over 300 lbs and I can’t move it nor would I even try since it’s hooked to a gas line! Guess I need to get on the hubby on that😂
I’ve cleaned my oven three times tho lol. Just can’t pull it out to clean under it😜
Gawd I need to mop with my ocedar but by the time I vacuum I’m pooped! Then the next day I just have to vacuum again. The fun of having a lab that sheds a ton😂
I have tried WD-40 to clean my stainless steel appliances. It works fine for me. You might not like it because of the smell.
What was the powder cleaner you used in your dishwasher
Kari, Can the board at the bottom of your upper cabinet be removed? It looks like it should be another shelf. That could help use the space betrer..... oops, you just did it. Lol
I bought the whole Jaws system about a year ago after seeing Amy Darley talking about it and I don't love it either. It's like it's too watered down. I'll stick with my regular stuff.
Sarah thanks for your opinion on the jaws system. So many UA-camrs use it or Mrs. Meyers. And they all say I love it. I understand that they're getting paid to say those words but I have never actually.heard a subscriber to any of those channels say they hated it. Maybe they do and I haven't scrolled that far. So again, thanks for saving me from purchasing this. I was considering purchasing.
@@nae1470 I will say I do like the Mrs Meyer's handsome but that's about it. The scents are amazing but there's nothing like the good old stuff lol. Part of my problem with the Jaws is that when spraying it you can see it bead up like crazy on surfaces and when wiping it just does something weird that I can't really describe. I'll finish off what I have but I'll only use it when I'm low on my daily products.

How did you pull your stove out? Bef9re the pregnancy, I couldn't seem to move my stove.
Im in a small 2 bed townhouse with a very small kitchen. Its hard to move the stove

The Mrs. Meyers Basil and Mint multi purpose cleaners smell amazing. Not to strong. The mint is hard for me to find. Your kitchen looks great 👍
I love the honeysuckle! It’s such a spring and summer scent. It’s a yellow label. Find it at Publix mainly.

Actually the best place for medicine is the kitchen, a cool dry place away from humidity, like the pantry. The bathroom is the worst place to store it.

So you follow gocleanco on Instagram?? She uses hot water, powdered tide and bleach. I now use powdered tide and water and it’s really amazing how well it cleans! I thought I was cleaning with multipurpose sprays but cleaning with tide is a game changer! I do still use multipurpose spray for quick clean ups.

I like the tip with the foil on the bottom of the oven. I'm actually cleaning tomorrow when hubby goes to work and is not underfoot lol. He's worse than our toddler twins. I also keep my first aid and meds in our kitchen on the very top shelf out of reach of our kiddos. This video made me want to clean today but gotta wait till tomorrow. Thank you for sharing. my old land lord said that putting foil at the bottom of the oven is a fire hazard.
Same...my hubby uses so much cooking oil goes everywhere when he cooks, good clean for my hob today and lovely grease finger prints on my cupboards there white everything integrated fridge the lot there like plastic not sure material but so hard to keep clean no handles drawers close themselves if you know what I mean give them a light push, but I'm like could you just give hands quick wash please, you only need tbsp of oil you know.... oh men
Grease proof paper I was going to do that for bottom of oven...another item forgot to buy
When I had white blind I would take them down and let them soak in the tub with hot water and clorox then dry them off and put them back up
