    Wow such an amazing talk. I’m also south Sudanese and a product of this system. You speak so much truth it is hard to watch my mom carry a full time job, try her best to take classes, cook and clean for everyone. She often says “if the lord made me a man instead of a woman my life would be much easier”. I’m happy you’re bringing light to this terrible tradition. Hopefully this can create some unity, sisterhood, and understanding.
