I would have to use my hydraulic press with sockets. I’m surprised there are no other comments here.😮 Speaking about Camaro’s I like 1st and 2nd Gen Camaro’s . My 1st was while in College in ‘74 I bought a 1968 Z/28 for $3,000, British Green w white stripes. A friend of mine is the current owner. After that I bought a 71 Z/28 in ‘75, in ‘77, ‘78 and ‘80 I ordered new Z/28’s. All my Z’s were/are 4-spds. In ‘81 I bought a 70 non RS Z/28 from the orig owner and still own it today. It had solid lifters in the LT-1 350/360 solid lifter engine w 780 vac sec factory Holley. I lost 2 solid lifter cams even when using the best oils with ZDDP so I went with a roller hyd cam back in 2013. Alls good so far. I do all the mechanical work on the car except rebuild the engine. IMO there are too many clearances to worry about and measure to do it right the 1st time. I’ll rebuild a Muncie 4-spd before attempting an engine. Sure I can tune an engine and set lifter and all that stuff, but I leave the engine build to the pros. When I couldn’t fit in a IROC, being 6’ 2”, I bought a ‘87 Buick Grand Nat’l and sold it after owning it for 22 yrs. I had too many miles on it but sold it with the original lacquer paint. On the highway it got 27 mpg. Too bad GM shelved that 3.8 L engine that had a turbo and intercooler, because it was quick for a 80’s car.
