I never knew Coding Ninja was a buzzword lol - But I feel like there's a lot of job descriptions with the word "Team Player" for example... So how would we go about avoiding buzz words like that while also making sure we use more than 51% percent of the keywords? I cry.. 😿
Thank you for the helpful videos! 😊 I would like to ask if you recommend to add references to my resume, even if they are not from Canada. Is it necessary?
References are not added to resumes in Canada, and no need to write "references available upon request" as it's implied you have them, because they are provided later in the hiring process when asked for
Sorry please is possible for you to talk about the jobs in Canada and their average annual salary for each provinces. And also steps to take when trying to immigrate to Canada and the different methods like for example PNP(Provincial Nomination Program), if I am wrong please do correct me because one of the videos I watched about how do immigrate to Canada the person said the method changes with time so I was hoping if you could tell us about the latest one. Thanks 🥰.
What if you don't have a job where you get any metrics? I'm a graphic designer and my work lacks of relevant metrics, mostly because I work a "producer" of graphic elements
How many projects have you worked on? What was their cost or profit? What did you implement in your workflow to work faster and more efficiently? How faster do you work now? Have you noticed or caught any mistakes in the workflow to fix the issue and save valuable time? All those are examples of quantifiable metrics you can use in any type of job.
Hello, want to know if is it a good idea to respond to gender race and ethnicity survey in job application or is "prefer not to say" a better option? Does it make any difference?
Generally, it doesn’t affect much, not unless there are big diversity quotas for the company to fill, in which case filling out the surveys may be positive for your application.
@MakeThatChange Thank you, I always felt uncomfortable answering that question. Because I want to be judged on my skills and not get a job just because I am South asian or of some race or gender. And vice versa is true, too. But would the company reject the application considering it as incomplete if I dont fill in the details?
Can you kindly guide me... 🙏 I have 2 options (offers)... 1 year course in York university and the 1st year tuition fee is around 16,000 CAD. 2 year course in North Bay , 1st year tuition fee is 23,000 CAD. I feel that staying in North Bay, I cannot earn for the 2nd year fee. On the other side, I can earn studying in York University but, it is of 1 year. By the way, my sister lives in Brampton with her family. I am unable to choose the option..
@@MakeThatChange Madam, for the same reason I am 100% interested in 1 year course offered by York University. Madam, I already completed my post graduation in Engineering from India and have work experience as well... But my family is worried about length of the work permit and the PR. Please .. please... still is it OK to choose 1 year course, so that I can convince my family.
Personally we don't see any reason why not - if work permit or PR is a big consideration, we recommend you consult with the immigration specialists to help you bring more clarity.. All the best!

Can you tell me what should we write in this case.. most of the time I use this type of buzzword..
I would say it’s safe to say that if the job description is using a buzzword, then you’re safe to use it for that specific job application as well.
@@MakeThatChange are there any job description that doesn't use buzzword?
include buzzwords but make them tiny and with transparent font 😁😁
😀😀

no. those details are optional and filled out on a voluntarily basis, it has no effect on eligibility of your application.

Why does length if the studying matter to you?
It does seem like lower fee, more opportunities and proximity to family is important to you!
