- Went up to Bishop Creek Canyon with Monica, David, and Don to do a little fishing and camping. The falls colors are just starting to turn in the Eastern Sierra and we were treated to some neat colors along the way. We camped out at Four Jeffery campground and fished North Lake, South Lake, and Lake Sabrina.

Nice... Great place for fishing & camping... It's already getting cold up there... Thanks for sharing, take care.
That cold came quick!
Tks for inspiration to go back. You do eat well, new camp site for me thanks again. See ya on the trail.
Thanks for watching James! It's a nice site if you get one along the creek.
nice video Huck. Bishop has always been my favorite place to fish, all the spots where you guys were at ive fished. its nice to see the water all the way to the top of the dam. last time i was there with my family there was no water to the face of the dam. again good video looks like you guys had a great time.
Wow!!! Super cool
Looks like a great place I saw that you were using your grandpappy old hickory good times
Yes sir! Still sharp as ever.
Badass video Jason, thanks for the tips up at little lakes valley too, if I didn’t have those mini jigs I would have been screwed, no one caught up there except me and 1 more guy
Thanks Chris! Get any goldens up there?
Great vid! Sabrina’s water is higher than last time I was there. Fished off the dam 😂 fun trying to pull them up! Oh! Wedge salad is the BOMB! That is a fact!!!
Love me a wedge salad!
Huck Outdoors With some blue cheese dressing and crumbles! So fresh and tasty when it hits your lips! So good! And with those slabs of meat!!! Woo! 🤤🤤😂😂
Also had fresh bacon on them as well!
Huck Outdoors a MUST!!!
Came across this video, hadn't seen this one before. Loved your video and this area and visit about every couple years. Often make Parcher's our base camp. If you walk Bishop Creek you will come across a dozen 'honey holes' that can hold a bunch of stocked trout. Also, my daughter loves to take the horseback adventure out of Parchers. This canyon is packed full of fun and trout. Of course Sabrina and South Lake if not too windy but there are at least 10 other lakes with a 1-2 hour hike in that area. Almost all are stocked by air and many have almost no fishing pressure.
Thanks! I've been going up there since the 90's. So many good spots. Parcher's is ran by some great people too!
Hey brotha that's where my wife and I go all the time great spot
Yes it is!
@@HuckOutdoors is there anywhere in cali you can camp in the winter time?
Very nice. I'm heading down that way soon.
Good luck! Should be good fishing with the cold weather coming.
Great video. Thanks for Sharing. New subscriber here. I love Aspendell and Love to fish bishop creek. I always do well behind intake lake.
Pura Vida 🤙🤙🤙
Thanks for watching! We didn't stop at Intake 2 as they have it drained down to do work on some of the dam there.
love this nature
Thanks for watching!
Nice! I’ll be heading up again in a couple of weeks for one last trip before the season ends.
Good luck!
Been going there for years. Awesome scenery great fishing totally jealous. Less than a month and will be there. Can't wait. Can you smell that campfire?
Yes I can smell it!
Great Video
Thanks!
Can’t believe how high the water level is. I was walking out on that island
They drain it low every year, then refill through the summer.
Don’t mean to ruin the secluded experience with this question, but how’s cell signal out there?
Very very very spotty. I only know of one spot on the road to South Lake to get signal.
Great fishing trip, those rib-eyes sure looked good. That was a very interesting breakfast, what was it?
It was Monica's creation. It's called Shakshuka toriavey.com/toris-kitchen/shakshuka/?jwsource=cl
Hey bro have you noticed any fall colors in Bishop or June Lake loop?
Bishop had trees turning color all over the canyon. North Lake, Sabrina, and South Lake. You can see some of it in this video.
Are those designated spots for camping or u can camp anywhere?
