Also Alan was very territorial when it came to Phillip, he never wanted him to have any relationship with Justin after the truth came out.
Am I the only one having trouble seeing Phillip and Beth as grandparents? I don't mean that in a bad way, it's just a lot of what I remember Lizzie was a little girl and James was a baby. Hard to imagine either of them having kids of their own.

Beth also could have said "Alan owned me like nobody's business, I had no money, resources, no support, he could have made my life and our children's lives unbearable." "I think part of the reason why I was attracted to Coop, was because he and I were so much alike, Blue Collar Background, struggling Family, but while I waited for things to happen, he "made" things happen, as a Teacher and a Novelist."

Regardless of the circumstances, Philip and Beth are always magic. I loved Judi Evans but Beth Chamberlain IS Beth to me. She was incredible in the role.
I sometimes wonder if Beth went with Alan because she thought she could change things with Alan the way she couldn't change them with Bradley. You guys want to see a confrontation check out the UK Soap Opera Emmerdale where Cain Dingle finds out that his Wife Moira not only had an affair behind his back but the Man is his Long Lost Son Nate by a Woman he loved over 20 years ago named Cora Robinson. He didn't even know the Young Man existed but his Mother knew and kept them apart.
Holy crap. You are freaking me out! My friend in South Carolina turned me on to Emmerdale last month for the Aaron and Robert storyline and yes, Cain Dingle's story with Moira and his son is amazing TV! I love that show!

I still watch Coronation Street which is Two Weeks Behind and Eastenders which I am about 7 Months behind. Alot of US Folks are watching UK Soaps. They are very Gay Friendly. Check out Hollyoaks as well.

Also Bradley her late Stepfather raped her and it was "he" who Phillip the truth about his Parentage. The only "true" thing that Bradley said to Phillip that night about how wrong it was to go after his Best Friend's Girl.

the direction, photography, and music are all awful, but the acting is top notch and it is nice to see these 2 in a scene together again.
