The SPAULDINGS were always my favorite disfunctional family. Loved complicated relationship between ALEXANDRA and ALAN. Somehow ALEXANDRA was always gracious LADY and managed to keep ALAN somewhat in line 😀. 🏆. 👑

ALEXANDRA and ALAN SPAULDING are my favorite loving disfunctional siblings. Somehow ALEXANDRA always seemed to hold the family 👪together, no matter what. Marj Dusay and Ron Raines had an incredible chemistry that carried over into their characters 👏. 🏆.

Alan deserves less than nothing

I have to be honest. I hated that Lizzie did not go at Reva more. In all honesty, the show became less dramatic. GL was always dramatic from the acting and the fantastic music. Ellen Wheeler took all of that away. Sorry for the rant lol

I actually liked them together after Tammy was gone. I cried when Tammy died but here showcased how they could have been good together

Still great acting towards the end of GL. Powerful scene, Grant and Justin were amazing. I know these final years were tough but the production isn’t AWFUL. I can deal with the outdoor scenes and camera work, but the music choices were awful! Didn’t fit GL at all.

Alan's Weddings were always a disaster. Annie gets arrested, Doris blackmails him, he bullies Beth, and Phillip kissed Olivia on their Wedding Day. Phillip and Harley were like Alan & Hope back in the day. She tried to show him a "Normal" Life but Alan butted in as did Beth and she used Lizzie's Leukemia to get closer to him.
