Mr Chopin, how many notes would like written on your piece?
    Chopin: Yes.

  • @verminjerky

Chopin seriously wants you to have a HAPPY FREAKING BIRTHDAY. He is straight up trying to murder you with celebratory joy.
Meanwhile, Bach is just trying murder you, period, and Beethoven wants you to be suicidally overwhelmed with the pointlessness of another year of existence.

I'm only 2 grades from being a fully certified pianist and to be as good as she is I would need at least 3 years of constant practice after being finished those grades to even be half as good as she is! She is an absolutely stunning player and I would also love to be as good as she is!

Too bad people have to be so cruel on the Internet. 90% of her audience probably never saw Victor Borge or even know who he was. I can name dozens of jazz musicians who cop all kinds of licks from the previous masters.

And who cares if she isn't the very first person to have done this? Mike Vax I thank you for this comment. First I was actually searching for someone in the comment who knew who Borge was, because it looked so much like his shows here (as in reaaally), but he wasn't mentioned in the description or else.
Maybe it's a tribute and she mentioned it, but it just isn't showed. Maybe she does other things (first video that I'm watching). Maybe she even doesn't know him at all but has the same ideas (that can happen, I know what I'm talking about). So thanks for having put it in perspective.

This woman deserves literally every fucking award there is and ever was that last one killed me omg. [edit: Upon my comment I have been made privy to information regarding the original performance that this woman is replicating. It was a genuine mistake, and I always wish to give credit where credit is due :) in the thread below you’ll find info regarding the original creator of this routine -Victor Borge-as well as the piece this talented pianist is copying as many performers do. Mimicry - when done tastefully - is quite different from MOCKERY. It is, in fact, deemed one of the highest forms of praise and flattery one can emote to a creator/artist/colleague. Those who play Mozart in recital are doing no different than this woman. My comment was meant to praise her ability to replicate someone else’s work. That’s all. :) With Peace&Love)
