- Ayala had been hanging around a Brooklyn residential building for weeks, often seen by the trash. A neighbor had been looking after her outside and giving her food, but was unable to offer longterm care and was so happy we could rescue her. Ayala quickly became a volunteer favorite, and while she's happy about her upgrade to the indoor life - her stink face lets us know that she still has very refined and particular taste! Thanks to you, this little lady will never have to scrounge in the garbage again. Join us as a monthly supporter to make sure more cats like Ayala get the lives they deserve.

My friend's husband opened himself up to the Cat Distribution System, and two weeks later, a friendly community kitten strolled into our friends apartment, and now they have a happy tabby with VIP life, just like this one. 🥰❤️
He's now fixed, vaccinated and in love with their dogs.

She has the same derpy face my family’s elderly cat has. She’s adorable, has a slim face with big eyes, so she looks a little odd sometimes with the cute faces she makes. I love cats that look like that, they’re precious.

What a sweet cat. She looks very much like a grey tabby that just showed up at my farmyard. Over a mile from the nearest neighbor, scared, skinny, very friendly and just frantic to get in the house. Clearly someone dumped her. She's safe now, waiting to be spayed and a clean bill of health from the vet and then she'll be up for adoption.

My maternal grandfather and my paternal grandmother each had residential properties that happened to have a barn. People dumped cats at both their properties frequently, despite neither of them having a "farm". People just see a barn and decide those people will take random cats. Fortunately and unfortunately, they were both softies when it came to sad animals, so they each took care of the cats, its just unfortunate because it caused them a lot of trouble over time, and made them very sad.
@@annana6098 I hear that. When my parents lived on the place cats would show up every now and then. They had a few cats around for pest control so there was always room for another. But it's not a good situation for a house cat. They'd try to find homes for them, and a couple became indoor cats.

I find abandoned kittens and cats far more upsetting than feral. My brothers were feral born and rescued and I wouldn’t swap them for the world. Their mother had never known the creature comforts they take for granted and she would never have been happy in a home, so she was CNR and living kitten free. Abandoned cats and kittens have known warm homes, at some point they would have probably been well attended to and maybe loved. Then they have either got lost unchipped or worse still purposely abandoned.
