One of my favorite channels - you do say nothing beats having guns and knowing how to fight, yet I think you make the point that an ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of a cure
Accordingly to the IIHS smart cars hearn the highest safety ratings due to the "race car style" frame and high tech airbegs. Having a big truck does not immediately translate to safety. Big does not mean secure or well manufactured especially regarding safety. But the comparison made the point anyway. One of the best youtube channels around. Thx for the video.
Salute!!!Nothing positive will be accomplished if your disabled mentally, physically, or financially. Tactically, all viewpoints were accurate since it makes more sense to have strong durable vehicles for safety and some non lethal tools available. Quality over quantity. The space force is just a reallocation of other branch's resources, mainly the Air Force, specifically in regards to satellites and communications. So there's not much to prepare for. If you want to go to space become an astronaut.
all of these are great points...it’s also worth mentioning that if someone uses #2 and #3 without using #1 then they are very likely not able to avoid an accident or they might even cause an accident in the first place
Wonderful !! Brain is indeed the best weapon. I just had a really bad experience with Olight(made in china LOL) and decided to go with surefire for the rest of my life ...
Thanks for making this video. I linked to it in the Strategies, Tactics and Training Forum I moderate. Most people are very gun centered when talking about self defense and this is a great explanation of where one starts preparing.
Really it is a great vid ! Very resourcful and well organized , and i would feel sorry for those who dont have the chance to watch it , but i will feel more sorry for those who watch it and did not understand it ... Thx again , and looking forward for the next vid ,,,
Chris, thank you so much for this. My son, Kevin, a Marine Intel operative, did the deed in Iraq because he put all these practices in place while "in country". Part of the Seven Ps. Proper Previous Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance. He taught me to do the same. Keep the good stuff coming. . /bb
Romanticizing your son he's not an "Intel operative" there's no such thing he's probably enlisted and he just works in intelligence he's not James Bond stop going around saying your son is James Bond he's an operative he's not an operative he sits in a freaking office
Might not be illegal to own if the gun is gone and some other funky bits are changed to make it safe to drive with turn signals etc. Probably costs a half a million.
Hi Chris, could you suggest some good flashlights that uses disposable alkaline batteries preferably AA type as this is the most widely available battery type with significant power and considering unforeseen shortage scenarios like the present COVID-19 one where most other exotic batteries are unavailable. And the reason for not using a rechargeable one is because I don’t have much need for flashlights in my daily life, except during the bedtime to avoid switching on lights and few times a year during power failure inside and outside home and seldom times to check dark nooks and crannies. This low usage will cause lower charge and discharge cycles causing rechargeable battery life to shorten. Current Alkaline batteries as you know have long shelf life so it would be more practical for people like me. Thanks.
What do you think about the Army’s effort to replace the M4 and SAW, and the bids that have been submitted? Do you plan on making a video about this topic?
A great resource for learning about money is Financial Peace University, it is a Dave Ramsey sponsored program with a free 14 day trial which is plenty of time to finish. My personal favorite resource.
Please, please, please just remember that this is a retired Green Beret saying these things. An elite commando with combat experience. He shot more guns at more types of people than anyone can possibly imagine, and he knows what he’s talking about. Lt. Col. (Ret.) Littlestone, a Harvard graduate, knows what he’s talking about. He ha an informed point of view.
Car guy here wonder if others think the same...of course let the other guy spend big beans on luxury car. Get it at depreciated value a few years later...trickle down economics. EX. A 2010 Lexus has safety features that weren’t offered in the Toyota line up until 2014
medical malpractices via human errors is the 3RD 'cause of death in the U.S. (though our medical establishment does their utmost to keep us ignorant of this fact/reality). the toxicity of our environs will soon make cancers the 1ST 'cause of death among us. keep up the great work of producing this high quality content for us to enjoy & grow.
You can tell this guy was a green beret because he has multifaceted and unconventional uses for every day things and knows how to break complicated concepts into basic digestible segments
Life can be a lot like chess. Would you rather make a slow move with a pawn that only grabs space on the sides of the board just like you would spend lots of money on something that will never make you the money back and only harms you such as drugs, or castle and put your king to safety as you would make in investment in something safe that is worth it and will pay you back such extra schooling.
If you grow up rather athletic...you find the military will give you all you need to maintain it. It’s mental as well...you get better at multitasking and focusing on specific’s. Mental gymnastics! Dear Sir! Would it be possible to provide information regarding the financial education and funding methods book you mention in your video (our fair share...) please? Thank you!
That list is a bit misleading in that that actual causality is quite often not the presenting disease. VAP ( Ventilator Acquired Pneumonia) Viral Pneumococcal & Bacterial Pneumococcal are often the death blow.
My friend Don told me many times this story. They had been out.....2-3 week LRP. Came up to there perimeter of there base camp. They were challenged.....He shouted,...”I don’t know the f*cking password,..how the f*ck would I know...we have been out....Dipshit! So Don..being the sergeant got up..cause they were suddenly pin downed. Walked right up to the Lt, that had been doing the talking.........the Lt...”Shot Him.” Don..despite the arm wound. Pepper spray is something I believe everyone should have, _especially women_ . It astounds me that most women don't carry one. You barely have to aim and are more likely to use it because its not lethal.

Best thing I have seen on the internet in a really long time.
It ain't that good
At first I thought it's about guns, cannons, missiles, mines, WMDs, etc. Yet this is way better than I previously thought.
Peter Yim I mean... those help too

I always pick up interesting information and things to think about. Thank you for doing these videos and thank you for your service.
Still one of the best and smartest”weapons” lessons on UA-cam!
"A good soldier is never caught short"...
that's because a "good soldier" has a long logistics support chain. a good SOF soldier anticipates being short
Absolutely OUTSTANDING and right on target. Well done. 👍🏻
Excellent video. One’s brain is always the first line of defense, but for many lack of use of that brain is cause for trouble.
Best thing for an operators point of view on dealing with a problem.
thanks for validating my sub. youre awesome

Wasn't expecting the list to turn out the way it did. Definitely good advice and a fun "thinking exercise" to stew on.
Hope u can make a video about what we need to prepare for being in the US Space Force.

Ariel Larin pretty sure he’s joking
They dont have a special forces unit
I would like to see the flashlight video. How about some EDC pocket knives, too?

Great moto. Use head and resources to keep you out of danger. When danger comes use your actual weapons for defense.
Great video on how to prepare your defense on making smarter decisions.

The best weapons you can have to safe guard your life is a brain in the "on" position, pintle mounted eyeballs and a plan should things go south.
WHERE CAN I FIND THAT BOOK
Which book?
Given the present reality of lawlessness in our country 2 years after this video was made. I bet those "violent crime" stats are a lot worse today.
Best weapon is your brain, learn to detect and avoid possible situations. The other things are simply tools
