Saving Styles as a template in Word

Doesn't show how to save the styles though, what if you wish to save the style's template to use in an existing document?

Bless you! I have been trying to figure this out on my own for years but every time I tried I got lost in the terminology (style, paragraph, normal, custom, heading, template, paragraph, font, etc.) and endless click-paths. I think I got it this time.

I want to save styles as a template, but I want to use them in different SIZES of documents. Can I do that?
