Nice area. Gumbo mud here in Freeport prevents wading. Using mud minnows in salt grass channels and waiting for fish to come by in high tides is about it. Very boring. Terribly windy lately. Waiting for sunny calm days has always been the story of my life :)
Yeah, good example set on CPR but dip your hand(s) in the water before a body grab instead of dry-handed. It is for a healthier fish you intend to release, no matter what size AND sets a demonstrative example of best practices for others to see and learn from you, while their enjoying your videos.
Here another local keeping spots to themselfs, like us out of towner safe going to catch every fish in the bay, I’m catch & release. I fish Lake Texoma and I go so far outta my way to help those that ask, as far as taking them to the exact spot, show the knot, give them the bait, everything needed to catch a few stripers, I want them to come back. They are the backbone to our economy. Just as I am to corpus economy the 2-3 times a year I go I always spend nothing less than 300-500 bucks. And usually get skunked, cause not knowing a few good spots. I like to keep 1trout or flounder for my wife. No more than 1, don’t waste animals. Just pittiful no o e helps me nor anyone else I’ve seen asking for help unless some smart ass tries to send someone on a wild goose chase. But what goes around comes around, stingy people can’t figure out why they arn’t having good luck, gets a ticket, no overtime etc that’s karma. If us out of towner pulled all our money together let it out of the locals economy it would be disastrous fir corpus area, wished lake Texoma pulled in money like corpus does we’d be doing great. Things to remember, locals don’t give a shit about guys like me as long as they hv the whole bay to themself’s. I pick up more trash in water Wade fishing and on banks than I hv pickets in my waders, I started carrying a net bag Ali go with me, most out of towner s are very clean respectable honest people we work hard for the money we do freely spend down there. Next year I’m planning on buying a little spot for a man cave on the weekend, then people will always be able to find spots to fish, I’ll post them, as well let folks know a certain hat I wear so they spot me, & they will come up & thank me not all buy some will. Just something to think about locals. How we would appreciate just a tad of information of spots to fish for flounder trout reds just remember your paid back 10 times over I can guarantee you that, you hv that in contract in the Bible, tight lines people say hello to fellow fishing next to you you could change his life with only a few good kind words and little time
This video makes me happy. Glad not all hope was lost after the freeze.
Ordered 4 Suppressor rods last night!! Can’t wait.
This channel is so underrated I’m subscribing

Nice rod and reel, but too expensive for me. Old farts like me cant pay 5 or 6 hundred dollars for a rod and real just for the little we can fish.
