I discovered Madness just a month ago, and they've been a gift that keeps on giving. Even caught them in NYC a couple days ago, and this song is completely new to me.
Have a look at their profile here on UA-cam and UA-cam music. They've made many albums as Madness, one as The Madness (only four of the members), suggs has made 2 solo albums, Lee Thompson and Chris Foreman were in a band called Crunch and released some material, Lee Thompson also has his group called 'Lee Thompson Ska orchestra', there's a great set from Glastonbury by then on UA-cam. The band also released a covers album under the name 'The Dangermen'. Carl ( Cathal, Chas Smash ) left the band years ago and has released one solo album. They've also made a film, starring themselves all about their formation. They are a British institution, massively underrated, particularly by the press and music institutions. Haha kind of a pleasant surprise coming across this. This band has done so much for the evolution of ska. Does anyone else feel like this song sounded very similar to the Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra?

I said I wanted Lee Kixer's T-shirt, you know with the old Maddy Boys logo, and for SOME reason someone reported my lament as spam. Well since I've been a fan of the worlds best damn band ska or otherwise since the 80s, I will say it again. I WANT HIS T-SHIRT! I would wear it proudly even here in the backwoods of Iowa where few people remember them for anything but Our House. And then I would tell them that Madness still kicks ass and buy The Liberty of Norton Folgate and Wonderful! So there!
Im pretty convinced that the ballet dancer guy is Lee (the saxophone guy) :D I dont see him anywhere else. And that hat... didnt he wear the same in the 'Night boat to Cairo' video?
