Mannnnnn!!! Crossing the Pentecost with that beautiful backdrop has been my dream for as long as i can remember!! One day i'll do it for sure!! Loving your work Gavin!
Sorry it took me so long to find your message. Thanks for the kind words :D Your right about those tractors lol. Slow way to get around but it looked like they were having fun hahah
Great work Gavin. El Questro is a fantastic place, heading there July with her indoors again. Private campsite #1 is great no croc's in the river there................well so they tell me.
Another stunning video , iv'e seen El Questro advertised before but never seen the country around it before . Good you help someone out and yes good karma coming your way someday :-)
Good stuff there champ After you cross the Pentecost River there is a track to the left going to Wyndham that is interesting and not well know covering the salt pans ect Cheers
G’day mate I’ve done the Carson many times I think you want to consider getting a bit more of a left on your vehicle gonna need lots of ground clearance
The Chamberlains do around 50Kms, they did about 40kms when new, but they are modified a bit to squeeze a few more Kms out of them. They normally upgrade the steering and seats also to make them easier to drive, safer and more comfortable.
good work Gavin, we found the crowds at El Questro a bit off putting. but it is a fantastic place for sure. I wonder how old mate went fixing his troopy?
Great episode Gavin, have you read Willem Kempen's story on his Carson River track experience? Well worth it. I loved Home Valley Station and actually preferred it to El Questro. Keep up the great work mate.
Great stuff Gavin. Loving the content and where you are taking this channel! Curious, what sun shades are you using on the rear windows of the Cruiser?
Nice work on the Troopy tow.. with a rear hub blown he should have been able to lock in his front hubs and drive out in H4 on front wheels only or did he have more issues?
I know nothing about fishing :D I grew up in the small Pilbara town of Paraburdoo which was about as far from water and fishing as you can get. Especially back in those days when very few roads were sealed in the Pilbara.
It was the most secure thing on the vehicle and even that was sketchy :D This isn't a road legal vehicle, I've never seen so much bush mechanics used on a single vehicle to keep it going before. Literally held together with wire and a willpower by the owner.
Love your work...but just a suggestion... maybe dial it back a bit on the soundtrack....music can be very annoying...and I found hard to watch this video because of it.

I sure have :D I speak with Willem often and I spoke with him before leaving about the Carson River track :D
Agree, Home Valley by far a better spot, loved it there. Plan to be back there soon.
Great stuff Gavin. Loving the content and where you are taking this channel!
Curious, what sun shades are you using on the rear windows of the Cruiser?
Matt Johnston Those are Solar Shades from www.solarshade.com.au they're expensive but perfect for the hot North West
Nice work on the Troopy tow.. with a rear hub blown he should have been able to lock in his front hubs and drive out in H4 on front wheels only or did he have more issues?
He had so many issues the rear hub was the last thing to go lol
When I got into town with him the police came and told him off because its a regular thing him needing to be towed back by the tourists.
Hahah.. what a local character :)
Fantastic video, love the scenery and the story.
Hope you might enjoy one of my quad video's.
Cheers, Pete
Dark Horse Cheers Pete, I never was into motor bikes but I do love to explore so will check it out tonight while I'm at work if I have time.
Well how were the ribs
The best i've ever eaten :D
lonely wheelbarrow at 1:51
Just a suggestion have you ever done any fishing on your trips
I know nothing about fishing :D I grew up in the small Pilbara town of Paraburdoo which was about as far from water and fishing as you can get. Especially back in those days when very few roads were sealed in the Pilbara.
I do have some future guest appearances from some fishing pro's though :D
Hi thank you for getting back to me I really appreciate it
My pleasure, I always enjoy chatting with you guys :D
Hi 👋
Paul Johns Hi there :)
Towing him via his bar work?
It was the most secure thing on the vehicle and even that was sketchy :D This isn't a road legal vehicle, I've never seen so much bush mechanics used on a single vehicle to keep it going before. Literally held together with wire and a willpower by the owner.
Love your work...but just a suggestion... maybe dial it back a bit on the soundtrack....music can be very annoying...and I found hard to watch this video because of it.
No worries mate
I thought the opposite, really enjoy the choice of music.
Awesome :D
Sorry I can’t agree here -I really enjoy the music in your Vids
Peter Canning awesome :)
