- These jeeps rides were..... able to save us a lot of money 😅 That's about one of the only good things you will hear us say about it haha! After driving on some of the ROUGHEST roads we have ever been on, we made it to Puiyan (and put ourselves an entire DAY ahead on the trek! Score!). We hope you enjoyed our first two days of our trek to Everest Base Camp!

Haven't come across many videos describing the torment of taking a jeep almost to Paya. Nice one! Last month we decided to take a jeep from Ramechhap-Phaplu-Paya as our flight was cancelled. Would say the flight to Lukla is super safe compared to this jeep ride 😀.

We stayed at a hostel called "wander thirst" and the owner of the hostel happily booked our jeep ride and flight back from Lukla for us! I believe if you go to any travel agent in thamel, they should be able to help you. We found that a lot of these transportation are booked at the last minute

We only paid about $600 each to hike to base camp, and that was for 2 weeks!
