Wow, I was to commend you on the utter bravery and endurence you got to do this hike, but the ending.... it explained all of it without the need to explain anything. I fully understand I think how devestating it must have felt to recieve this negative feedback on the end a day like this that should have ended with the positivity and proudness you had earned for yourselves. I commend you Tom for putting it in! You looked gutted in the last scene.

I am coming up to 53 years of age and one thing I have learned is there are some people who just cant help themselves, rather than have the ability and maturity to self critique they just focus their own shite on others and that's about all they have. You pair are amazing and for every negative comment there are 1000s of positive, so stay focused on those. I am like MARMITE, you either like what I do and who I am or you don't, either way I don't care to much about those who don't (that's cool) and focus on those who do (which is cooler). Never stop doing what your doing. Your rawness is part of your story telling and many 1000s of us love the stories your putting out. I love how you guys show the more miserable parts and difficulties & challenges as well, along with the cool parts and fun parts. This really is an exceptionally good travelogue. We’re watching from a comfortable bed in Oxfordshire but your video is so well produced we feel like we are right there beside you. Don’t stop including the bad bits as well as the highlights. If people want an edited, sanitised version suggest they watch TV.

I am just back from the EBC trek. We faced the same situation with the weather and couldn't fly into Lukla from Manthali. Like you we flew to Phaplu and then took a helicopter to Surke. Knowing what you experienced and what the options were for getting to Lukla, I have nothing but admiration for how you handled it. While totally frustrating and exhausting, it was such an adventure and worth all of the drama that we experienced. Unless folks are out there experiencing what we did, their opinions should have no influence. Izzy, you are a superstar! Finding that extra juice to keep going was tough. I hope the rest of your trip was as magical as ours.
That was seriously intense guys. 12 hours would be tough in good weather & good health but Izzy - you slayed it. Well done! I was going to say I bet that meal at the end was one of the most rewarding of your trip, then the spiteful comments appeared on screen and I was gutted for you. Adventures where plans go out of the window often end up being the best. Well done Iz for beasting out a 12 HR hike when you've had limited sleep and a gurgling belly. Both so natural now talking to the camera and the footage is incredible, I actually felt terrified watching that journey down the mountain in the vans… don’t know how you do it, really don’t. Then the human side of the whole thing, it so very moving to see the love and support you show each other. And Tom, you were absolutely fantastic, clearly, in your support on a gruelling day, and well done Izzy, you did it! You are a wonderful young couple…keep going and keep safe. Don't let them bring you down Tom! From what we see on the videos you are a top bloke. I watched that video when you first put it up and my only reaction was how real it was. Along with talking about poo, you two show more of the reality than most UA-camrs and you should be proud of that. People also don't seem to understand that you were in the middle of nowhere and Izzy was freaking out. As long as you and Izzy are ok then everyone else can do one!
You did so well doing the trek in the rain and poor Is not feeling great...The car journey before yes scary with the roads being so poor....We complain about our roads in N Ireland but the roads you were on well!! I hope you will be okay after getting so badly soaked...you are both amazing...xxxx

I looked at the comments people put on the screen at the end of your video. These people are really horrible and need to get a grip. It's called adventure, it's not always comfortable you have to roll with the punches and it's all character building. Honestly Izzy and Tom do not take any notice of these stupid people they are just making negative comments for the sake of it. You did really well guys and you both support each other well emotionally. Tom I loved the way you showed how proud you were of Izzy at the end and I love your loving banter that you show between each other. If people don't get this they are just completely mad and not watching your videos from beginning to end to get the whole story. Complete knee jerk reactions in the extreme. The jealousy of your achievements is unreal. Don't let these idiots put you off on your life quest. You are doing a great job and it's a joy to watch and follow you. Your editing skills have come on leaps and bounds since you started this whole UA-cam experience. Love you guys and love what you are doing. Poo stories are fine it's how travellers gauge their fitness and daily health. When I traveled overland in Africa for a year we all swapped poo stories it became away of gauging what health problems there were in the area and potentially what problems there might be in an area you were about to go into, it became a completely natural thing to do and some great humour built up around it.

This episode reminded me of a trip we did in India many years ago. We shared a jeep with 4 nuns, the trip was horrendous, I knew it was bad when the nuns held hands and started praying 🙏. Great memories.

Because dashain weather was full of rain and clouds. Weather happened to be clean only after tihar. So in that rainy weather flight are impossible even drive are difficult but some how possible as they did.

Back when I was a kid, we would fly down from upstate NY to catch a Lufthansa flight out of JFK to Frankfurt. Those small propeller planes remind me of what you’re flying in Nepal. Often the seating was more like a living room, with benches perpendicular to the direction of flight. Once there was an actual couch bolted to the floor. Quite an adventure getting on a weird plane type you’d never seen before.
Fook me what an adventure from start to end. Murphy's law kicking in full gear in this episode. Mad respect for chugging along in spite of all the adversaries. Isabell is a warrior for doing 2 days hike in 1 even when not at 100%.

Because I also go through a same situation when I hiked Pathivara taplegunj to see the Kanchanjangha, me and my family went through the same situation like you guys but once I saw the peek I really forgot everything. I always hike with a large umbrella. I use it as a walking stick, keep the rain of the top half of my body. It provides shade in the blazing sun, and it’s also useful as a wind break, in high winds. I also have use it as a lens shade for landscape photography.

I think you two are doing a great job. You're trying to keep it real showing the highs and lows of the trip with some humor and heartache but at the same time trying to stick to a schedule and it is not always easy to do. There is a level of stress and fatigue involved with doing all that while also filming. You're also getting wayyy more exercise than me. :) Enjoy your adventure that will be the memory that counts.

Lukla flight cancellation is very normal. You guys amazed me. when i first watch your video & izzy was not doing well i thought you guys will not do this kind of trek. it was really hard covering 2 days trek in 1 days. That will drain too much mental & physical strength. But on the bright side in future when you think something is impossible then this experience will give you strength. you guys did something unthinkable. great job guys.

This really is an exceptionally good travelogue. We’re watching from a comfortable bed in Oxfordshire but your video is so well produced we feel like we are right there beside you. Don’t stop including the bad bits as well as the highlights. If people want an edited, sanitised version suggest they watch TV.

I am just back from the EBC trek. We faced the same situation with the weather and couldn't fly into Lukla from Manthali. Like you we flew to Phaplu and then took a helicopter to Surke. Knowing what you experienced and what the options were for getting to Lukla, I have nothing but admiration for how you handled it. While totally frustrating and exhausting, it was such an adventure and worth all of the drama that we experienced. Unless folks are out there experiencing what we did, their opinions should have no influence. Izzy, you are a superstar! Finding that extra juice to keep going was tough. I hope the rest of your trip was as magical as ours.
That was seriously intense guys. 12 hours would be tough in good weather & good health but Izzy - you slayed it. Well done! I was going to say I bet that meal at the end was one of the most rewarding of your trip, then the spiteful comments appeared on screen and I was gutted for you. Still, let the good times way outweigh the bad - the two of you are such inspirational people so look after yourselves and enjoy the ride 👍
Adventures where plans go out of the window often end up being the best. Well done Iz for beasting out a 12 HR hike when you've had limited sleep and a gurgling belly. If the going gets sketchy in the 4*4s, just get out and walk. They don't give out medals if you've had a 10 minute tumble down to the valley floor as a crash test dummy! One of your best vlogs 👍

Hello both! Been sharing your adventures since Ireland and I really have to compliment you, again, on how good these videos are. Both so natural now talking to the camera and the footage is incredible, I actually felt terrified watching that journey down the mountain in the vans… don’t know how you do it, really don’t. Then the human side of the whole thing, it so very moving to see the love and support you show each other. And Tom, you were absolutely fantastic, clearly, in your support on a gruelling day, and well done Izzy, you did it! You are a wonderful young couple…keep going and keep safe. Can’t wait to see the next one!
Don't let them bring you down Tom! From what we see on the videos you are a top bloke. I watched that video when you first put it up and my only reaction was how real it was. Along with talking about poo, you two show more of the reality than most UA-camrs and you should be proud of that. People also don't seem to understand that you were in the middle of nowhere and Izzy was freaking out. As long as you and Izzy are ok then everyone else can do one!

With the truck ride from hell, the squits & that nightmare trek in the rain. You are an absolute legend 🙌 keep going guys, your videos are honest treats dropping in during my boring mundane life. I looked at the comments people put on the screen at the end of your video. These people are really horrible and need to get a grip. It's called adventure, it's not always comfortable you have to roll with the punches and it's all character building. Honestly Izzy and Tom do not take any notice of these stupid people they are just making negative comments for the sake of it. You did really well guys and you both support each other well emotionally. Tom I loved the way you showed how proud you were of Izzy at the end and I love your loving banter that you show between each other. If people don't get this they are just completely mad and not watching your videos from beginning to end to get the whole story. Complete knee jerk reactions in the extreme. The jealousy of your achievements is unreal. Don't let these idiots put you off on your life quest. You are doing a great job and it's a joy to watch and follow you. Your editing skills have come on leaps and bounds since you started this whole UA-cam experience. Love you guys and love what you are doing. Poo stories are fine it's how travellers gauge their fitness and daily health. When I traveled overland in Africa for a year we all swapped poo stories it became away of gauging what health problems there were in the area and potentially what problems there might be in an area you were about to go into, it became a completely natural thing to do and some great humour built up around it.

This episode reminded me of a trip we did in India many years ago. We shared a jeep with 4 nuns, the trip was horrendous, I knew it was bad when the nuns held hands and started praying 🙏.

Because dashain weather was full of rain and clouds. Weather happened to be clean only after tihar. So in that rainy weather flight are impossible even drive are difficult but some how possible as they did.

Back when I was a kid, we would fly down from upstate NY to catch a Lufthansa flight out of JFK to Frankfurt. Those small propeller planes remind me of what you’re flying in Nepal. Often the seating was more like a living room, with benches perpendicular to the direction of flight. Once there was an actual couch bolted to the floor. Quite an adventure getting on a weird plane type you’d never seen before.

I always hike with a large umbrella. I use it as a walking stick, keep the rain of the top half of my body. It provides shade in the blazing sun, and it’s also useful as a wind break, in high winds. I also have use it as a lens shade for landscape photography.
One of the most enjoyable videos you've done felt all your pain and excitement well done both of ye to help each other that was a massive walk I hope the weather breaks soon and ye get the rewards of this beautiful part of the world

I think you two are doing a great job. You're trying to keep it real showing the highs and lows of the trip with some humor and heartache but at the same time trying to stick to a schedule and it is not always easy to do. There is a level of stress and fatigue involved with doing all that while also filming. You're also getting wayyy more exercise than me. :) Enjoy your adventure that will be the memory that counts.

Lukla flight cancellation is very normal. You guys amazed me. when i first watch your video & izzy was not doing well i thought you guys will not do this kind of trek. it was really hard covering 2 days trek in 1 days. That will drain too much mental & physical strength. But on the bright side in future when you think something is impossible then this experience will give you strength. you guys did something unthinkable. great job guys.
