Manrico non e' per Gregory Kunde che qua' risulta con una vocetta incolore e oscillante e il colore e lo smalto non c'e' piu'. Fara' pure il trillo...ma non basta davvero. La Meade e' una copia vocale della Françoise Pollet (ve la ricordate'). Glia altri si barcamenano...

Juan Jesús Rodríguez is VERY impressive as Count di Luna.
The second half of Gregory Kunde's "Di quella pira" (just after Leonora's "Oh, quanto meglio saria morir") took me by surprise, although it wasn't an unpleasant one. I don't know if that was in the score, a matter of artistic license or simply a very clever vocal cover-up , but it worked very nicely; although I've never heard it sung that way.

Me gustó bastante....para las porquerías que se ven hoy es muy buena la puesta en escena y los cantantes cumplen bien....se destaca el barítono; es muy bueno, no lo conocía. La Meade tiene una tremenda voz, d'amor sulla'ali me encantó...Bravi!

Ну что же они все так разъедаются до невероятных объёмов! Просто трудно представить в таком объёме 18-ти летнюю Леонору! Может, с последних рядов партера это не так бьёт в глаза? Впрочем, в оперу её приходят слушать!

Gregory Kunde sounds awful, I still can’t understand how people clap like crazy at the end of “Di quella pira”, that is the most awful yell I’ve ever heard in my life, why to attempt something you can’t sing?

Ok. It has a clouded "ring" _( Di quella Pira )_ but not everyone can pull this off like _[ you know who ]._
BUT Kunde is better than Kaufmann, at least the performance I saw. Kaufmann had no upper register to leave the stage heroically & made disparaging remarks, previously, about
_[ you know who ]_ in the role.

thats the bestcount de luna i have ever seen and i ve seen plenty. the guy tries to act mean, but he doesn tseem like one too cute. angela meade needs to lose about 300 pounds, she unbalances the stage with her big fat bod.

She was a very kind generous lady indeed she was. Maria Callas was asked once at the end of their career if she had a successor and she thought for a long time and then she said only Montserrat Caballe. Shame on you .How much you have to learn about boundaries and respect my friend. You should remove that comment or correct it apologize and act like an adult. That kind of attitude you'll miss so much in life when you criticize the most beautiful art form in the world and someone who's trying to accomplish so much not knowing thier circumstances.
