Remain friends for about 3 months, then call him asking for an emergency place to stay. It would be fun to try and challenge 4chan to see if there is a location where they can't find or access. Every location is given away by a light source and tracking Shia's movements, so the best location would be a secret abandoned underground bunker, though as long as the live stream is sending out data it can always be tracked. Give a random nameless person the flag to put in a room in China without any windows in front of a green screen that streams an incorrect background and simulate a light source that matches the background's light patterns while using a VPN to mask the source of the stream. That or put the flag in an obvious location that can't possibly be heckled, like the top of the White House, or area 51, or in Chernobyl next to the elephant's foot.

The White House is right out since that's where Trump is and these people would spontaniously combust if they went within 3 feet of the guy. I doubt any of these people have hte clearance to go to Area 51 to place the flag either and it's obviously going to just start the Area 51 raid round 2. And the Elephant's Foot... Find me a person who's willing to die for that and a camera that can actually withstand the radiation, I dare you.
The VPN stuff is also good but there's going to be something, some slip-up that will make it inevitably fail. Someone finding out how the person was chosen and backtracing that would probably be the big break needed to find it.

You can also proxy stream making it even harder to track the original source. Now I'm talking the realm of impractical nonsense, but theoretically, is there a way to mask a location completly within the limitations of Shia's art project? After all this time, the one thing he succeeded in doing... Was dividing himself from everyone else.
My idea for a flag with sky:
- Flag in walled rectangle with open top so you can't see it from outside.
- Camera pointing to a strip of sky with no commercial plain routes.
- Audio is streamed in from a mic on another continent.
- A nightlight overexposing the camera to hide the stars.
- (Optional) Stream is recorded and plays with 1 day delay with slightly sped up day and a shorter night. This is calculated so it shifts it to another timezone.
I just went to the stream and... the flag is flying on a pole again. Time to get 4chan back on the case.

You can find the stream on the HWNDU website itself. The flag is completely ripped apart and you can't even tell what it originally was without the foreknowledge. It's located at some French museum right now. It wasn't even 4chan who got the flag destroyed, just some strong natural winds that over time started to rip the flag apart. Basically the museum and Shia didn't bother to maintain the flag and the project is essentially abandoned by both parties.
Its so sad that season 2 is not online anymore.....

This whole saga is one of my favorite things to ever happen on the internet. A bunch of people get together to troll a famous person trying to make a political statement via livestream. The only way he technically succeeds is by basically just uploading a still picture.
I guess it's a good thing that the one thing 4chan can't do is pull off a complex task in person. Taking down a flag in the middle of a swamp, fine, but something like breaking and entering is a no-go.
