You weren't the only one. When he had his fingers and hand on the face of the one magnet with the other nearby, I was thinking the worse.

Hi Dan, you may (or may not) remember me from episode 47 of digging the coast 365, I met you on the Isle of Sheppey with Chaz and his daughter and brought you some food, milkshake and gloves and we had a few pints too.
I've also got the wukong 770 and I've certainly got no complaints.
I had no trouble pulling in a motorbike frame to the edge but did have to get my 380 on it to get it up the bank. I've also got a 300kg double sided which the kids use.
I'm in Yorkshire for a week from the 12th of this month if you're in the area and fancy a fish and maybe a pint ot two, would be great to see you again.

Some monster magnets there Dan! Can't help but think you'd be better with "self amalgamating tape" It's basically a thin rubber tape that you stretch fairly tightly as you wrap it and it sticks to itself, it'll probably last loads longer than Gorilla tape.

Hey dan you should magnet fish in the wolverhampton canals.. not the best area so you might find sommat good! I know it's a bit of a drive tho but you walked on a good canal near clairgate on your LEJOG walk if you remember.. I live round there too ;)

Beauties! You may want to write the specs on the sides of the magnets as well...I imagine the marker would get scraped off the faces pretty quickly once you start using them.

If I may back a suggestion. On the single sided one. Remove the loop and put on Thread lock so you don't lose it in the water pulling on it.

Hi Dan, When you cut and melt the rope dip your fingers into cold water and then quickly mould the melted rope into a nice shape (rounded.)
How are you going to pull them out if they get caught on something really heavy? Winch on van?Or like a tug of war match with about six rugby players! Can't wait to find out.
At a guess the writing on the magnets will rub off after the first day of use. Put a separate tag on the eyelet with the info on.
Also you can get rubber sheathing that shrinks when you heat it to join the rope together rather than a metal clip and tape 👍🏼

Metal loop called a carabiner by civilians, mountain climbers, etc. Soldiers (current and vets) call them "snap links."

I don't know much about magnets so I saw one online for $10 I was like cool I can afford it when I got it it's so small the only thing it will pick up is a Bobby pin😂

Can you please explain the Kilogram rating? 750kg weight but you can simply pull things off with your hands.
I tried to explain in the video. You can slide magnets off metal rather than pull from directly above.
The 770 is double sided so that's 385kg each side. That would also only be the pull weight when attached to thick plate steel so sliding it off of another magnet doesn't equate to that weight, luckily. If you were trying to pull it straight off without sliding it would be very hard indeed.
