As a regular trader (not a pro one), here are some tips I can share BASED on my experiences and what I notice with my fellow traders: As we all know, trading is a great way on earning bytes. But it may also be the reason for us to lose some. ✨Trading✨ • Trading is not easy, you must have a good amount of budget, or you can start from small amounts to higher. • I highly suggest to NOT mass-buy, mass buying is when you boy a lot of items. I suggest buying items 1 by 1 and selling them to prevent massive loss in the long run. ✨PWE Trading✨ • Be aware of your deposit and the extra bytes you will lose for every deal. Most player do not think of the extra deposit value as an additional expense, thus making them earn less rather than what they think. ✨ Hoarding✨ • Hoarding is when you buy a lot of the same items to wait for them to rise. • It does NOT mean that you hoard a specific item will make it rise automatically, choose the best ones, there are a lot of items in-game, some are useful, but some are not, some are limited, some are not. Choose the right items to hoard by asking yourself with these questions: 1.) What is a good item with rising demand lately? 2.) How much is my budget? Will it be enough to continue a hoard? 3.) Is the item I want to hoard useful to the players? ✨Economy✨ • The economy is changing every day, you must be aware of price manipulators and hoarders, as they can make you rich in a snap or make you loss massive amounts of bytes. • You will not profit automatically by buying cheap items, we SHOULD be practical about the things we do and buy, buying the items that people usually use and buy is much more beneficial than an item forgotten by mostly everyone. • Being aware of what item will probably drop and rise will give you an idea on what item to sell or what item to buy and keep. ✨Benefiting from Events✨ • There are a lot of weekly, monthly and anual events in Pixel Worlds, as part of that, many items will have price inflation as the event they are good or mainly used at is coming, so make sure to take advantage of them and hoard a few of them. Just like Gems for the Halloween event. Gem's prices inflate as Halloween is coming, and as part of that, fishing or mining gears are in popular demand, so take advantage on buying a few pieces. BUT be careful, it doesn't merely mean that an item will be in demand will make it rise a lot. ✨Values and Morals✨ • Start a deal by being polite to your transactor, do not be harsh or do not be rude as it will make them lose fun and will most likely end the deal without you profiting. • Lowballers or those super low payer should be treated with respect as well. As they are your fellow traders, we must respect each and everyone's style of trading. • After a deal is done, a simple words of gratitude will be much appreciated, like: "Ty", "Thanks!". • Perseverance. It doesn't mean that we lose bytes from a certain item makes us a bad trader, we should try and try until we earn a lot. We should keep on moving forward and not let the losts count your future. • Lastly, believe in yourself. I hope these simple tips and tricks helped you and made you more knowledgeable. trading tips no.5: when you want to buy items and then the seller ask "you buy for?" so NEVER tell the seller how much you want to buy, they might say more, for example: you: "how much?" seller: "you buy for?" you: "hmn.. 620k bytes" seller: "nty 645k bytes i can" so how to control/counter this?, simple! first thing you need to do is NEVER tell/answer how much you want when the seller ask how much you want to, next step is asking back how much the seller want because they might say less than 645k bytes, for example: you: "how much?" seller: "you buy for?" you: "um.. you for?" seller: "630k bytes?" you: "620k bytes deal" seller: "ok 🤝" (its will work depend by how you control the trading and also depend by how the seller was) its pyschological things i learn when i play pixelworlds btw :)
