HLO SIR@@VisionaryFilmStudios I HAVE MADE A SHORT FILM WITH Sony ZVE10 WITH KIT LENS , FILM NAME - THE MURDER OF MAID IS ON MY UA-cam CHANNEL. SIR I WANT TO ASK A QUESTION CAN I MAKE A FILM WITH SONY ZVE10 FOR THEATRE , IT IS POSSIBLE ? WHICH LENS I HAVE TO USE WITH THIS . AND WHAT RESULUTION THEATRE DEMAND PLS REPLY SIR
@@akshcinema you can 100% shoot a Hollywood quality film on the ZVe10 and play it in theaters 😉 There’s not really specific resolution requirements for theaters- but most now are delivered in 4k. But you’ll be fine if you shoot in 4k and deliver in 2k if you want. But 4k would probably be preferred. Here is my lens recommendation: ua-cam.com/video/wZk09QLV4i0/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
@@VisionaryFilmStudios THANKS SIR. ONE MORE QUESTION ABOUT MUSIC , FROM WHICH WEBSITE I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD MUSIC FOR MY THATRE FILM WHICH HAVE NO ISSUE LIKE COPYRIGHT. BECAUSE I HAVE NO BUDGET FOR MUSIC COMPOSERS.
@@akshcinema Great question! Here is a video I did talking about that very question: ua-cam.com/video/WExmDDTTuI8/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Hope this helps!!
I watched your entire "zv-e10 series" on youtube and the lighting does make this film more professionel. Great work , with this small little camera. Only weird artifact is the little jitter from left to right in some clips. It is first noticable at 0:09 . Is this due to digital stabilization in the edit or rather in camera ?
You have a good eye! There are definitely a few ‘jitters’ in the footage. There actually is no stabilization applied to the footage whatsoever either in camera or in post. So those jitters are just the shakiness of my hands being transferred into the raw footage. I had the camera on a monopod but obviously it didn’t quite stabilize everything. A quick stabilizer in post probably would’ve fixed this but I wasn’t too worried about it since they’re kinda minor. You should check out the bts I made (linked in the description of the film), I talk all about dealing with the lack of ibis in the camera and how I got (mostly) stable handheld footage without it! Appreciate the kind words!!
This was SO good! love it! I am a beginner to video making and have been so overwhelmed trying to choose a camera to invest in. This was very inspiring
So glad you loved it!! I definitely get how overwhelming some of the camera stuff can be- the ZVe10 has been my recommendation for filmmakers since it came out! Best way to learn: just make films! As many as possible! I saw you made it into the ZVe10 cinema course, hopefully that will be a big help for you as well 😉 we’ve got 5+ more modules we’re going to add into it in the next few days
sir , a question is , for film festival , i make a film and i use music for it from a paid website , so i have to mention the name of that musician in my film or not ? at the same for foley?
Right so every website is going to have different terms, so I’d recommend looking at the license information on they’re website to see what you can and cannot do with the music. Generally speaking, those types of websites do allow for film festival use, but not VOD or theatrical distribution.
Short answer: the sigma 30mm f1.4 for 65% and 56mm for 35%. Long answer: I made a video all about it the lenses I used! Here it is ua-cam.com/video/cE_8qpk4UzI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
It sort of depends on what you’re shooting, but for filmmaking I’d definitely say so. If you’re vlogging a lot, the 16 may come in a bit more handy as you won’t be able to use the 30mm held out at arms length to vlog. But otherwise the 30mm is a great all around lens you can use for wide shots and closeups. When I shot this film I had the 16, 30, and 56mm on hand. I used the 30 for 65% of what you saw in the film, and the 56 for the other 35%. I did use the 16mm for a few shots but ultimately none of them made it into the Final Cut of the film. The reason I’d lean away from the 16 mm is that you’ll get some distortion on close ups and even medium shots which looks pretty amateur usually. You get a lot less of that on the 30mm. I talked about that a bit more in this video if you’re interested: ua-cam.com/video/cE_8qpk4UzI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
@VisionaryFilmStudios Thank you very much for your response. I will do more video shooting for my music career, so I think the 30mm will be better for me. Thanks for taking ur time to reply. God bless
nice shortfilm, I don't want to be picky, but that lamp behind blew out highlights all the time, it could have been solved by decreasing its intensity or if not possible, remove it and use another less bright practical one. despite this it seems strange to me that that light burned out so much, this makes me think that it wasn't shot in slog2 but in a standard color profile, which is a shame because it doesn't take advantage of the dynamic range of the sensor. Aside from this, the short film is good.
Appreciate the feedback! TLDR: Yep you're right. Yeah so the bulb in the lamp was at the lowest setting (5w). The wall lights definitely were blowing out too and they were dimmed to the lowest setting as well. Best case scenario I would have used an aperture B7C or something light that so I could dim it lower or at least some nd, but I didn't have any of that with me since I was aiming to keep the lighting package as small as possible (more on that in my bts videos). Normally I shoot closer to f2.8 on my full frame cameras which makes it easier to deal with these types of issues (and I have good nds for the lenses I normally use), but since I was shooting at f1.4 for this whole film with no filters for the rented lenses, highlights definitely became an issue I wasn't entirely prepared to handle on the day. From a technical perspective I definitely think that along with a few unwanted camera shakes here and there is what really makes the film feel low budget. There's also one or two shots I feel like are a little weird as I missed some coverage for a ~5 second section but I mostly managed to smooth that out in the edit. People with a technical eye definitely catch on to those sorts of things, but I made this mainly for beginner filmmakers to show what's possible with a cheap camera and beginners are 100% not looking at blown out practicals lol. You are correct, we did not shoot this in slog 2. Generally I just don't personally feel like it's worth it to shoot log on the ZV-e10. Reason being that you can only shoot in 8-bit, and in my experience if you shoot in log and push it very far at all in a situation like this the image just sort of falls apart due to the low color depth. If I'd been shooting on one of my better cameras or had been 6% more prepared to shoot at lower apertures that I normally do, I would have have definitely dealt with the highlight situation differently (higher f stop, nd, shoot slog3, etc). Props to you though for calling out the blown out highlights- it was something I definitely was aware of on set and frustrated with in the edit, but you're the first person to mention it. Great eye!
Its seriously impressive that this was all recorded on a ZVE10. Bravo 👏🏽
Looks great. Hopefully, Sony is giving you a big check for promotioning their camera. You definitely deserve it!
I wish! Lol- need more subs and views for that but we’re on our way! Thanks for the support! Really appreciate it!
Well done! Working with you guys was a great experience and I hope we can do so again in the future. 🔥👍🎬
Thanks my guy! Couldn't have done it without you- looking forward to making something happen together in the future!

Great acting, great picture, absolutely garbage audio. I have to admit that your audio is terrible and destroyed your film altogether.
