108.9 The Hawk is a failing fictional classic rock radio station in the fictional city of Val Verde. Well, the failing part isn’t fictional. A couple of seasoned improv guys demonstrate how hard improv is for some people. They’re pretending to be cheesy radio DJs and are somehow less funny and more corny than actual radio DJs.

The premise is not bad at all, if it were semi-scripted (a la Curb) it has potential, but only if done by actually talented people.
If anyone's interested in seeing a similar premise done to perfection, search Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan's local radio morning guy). The humour is very British, very 'The Office'-style toe-curling, eggy moments. Admittedly it is entirely scripted, but incredibly well done.

I watched for the first time in ages last week, and TSN is basically clips of SJ, Bob saying "This is unbelievable", Mike doing random stuff on google, a chatroom of people congratulating themselves for being fans of Shuli, half of them thanking him for saving them from depression / loneliness/ unemployment, and Shuli messing up every superchat he reads. And the other guy is there.
