    Dear Andrea,
    What an absolute delight it must have for your father to see the family tradition being carried out so well by none other that his descendant. Of course one must not forget the beautiful guitar playing by your brother which adds a certain note of nostalgia. The overall design still retains the feel of yesteryear which must be an added bonus for Honourable father. Very well executed with a gorgeous wood essence & a wonderful finish to highlight it's natural beauty. Kind regards.

      Dear Dilip,
      It really had something about it. I loved the process and thinking about how my father made it some 30 + years ago. I made sure to write the date so I someone can tell one day.
      My brother wasn't playing this piece.
      PS
      Have you noticed how cherry didn't burn when cutting with H&B blades 😊

      Dear Andrea,
      Thank you very much for your courteous reply. I am pleased to hear that you've managed to recreate your father's bread box in a lovely wood essence. Adding the date is also a very nice touch to reminisce over the coming years. I am equally delighted to hear that my blade lives up to it's high expectations. I also noticed your DeWalt hand held circular saw, I wonder how the blades are doing??? Kind regards.

      @AndreaArzensek  6 років тому +1

      You won't believe but I haven't had time to install your blade on it. I imagine it will cut incredibly. I cut some twisted pallet wood for firewood and I didn't want to use your fine blades for that so the original stayed on.

      Dear Andrea,
      Thank you very much for your reply; perhaps what you might wish to do in order to get some sort measure of cut quality is to cut with the original a series of different materials(M.D.F, ply, O.S.B, solid soft & hard woods, melamine, etc., etc...) & then switch over to the new ones & see how they fare compared to the original.(Just an idea!). I look forward to seeing your findings. Kind regards.

    I've been looking for a small jointer + planer combination like yours. Do they still make it? Are you happy with it?

    • @AndreaArzensek
      @AndreaArzensek  6 років тому

      I'm not really happy with it but it does the job faster than I can hand plane the board. The problem is aluminum cast tables that are not parallel thus it is not good for tight glue joints. I tried to fix it but it is a toy planer. I'm planning to upgrade it to a Holzman Hobby 260mm 230V 160kg machine.
