Fun fact: The S&W TRR8 revolver was designed to be used with a shield because pistols with slides would hit the shield preventing the gun from cycling fully.

On top of that the TRR8 has 8 rounds of. 357 instead of the traditional 5 to 6 rounds in a revolver.

This game is incredible. The flashes actually work so nicely with the way they look and sound, the explosions, the sounds, the guns, the lighting, fucking everything is brilliant. I can't wait for this game'e future.
Finally COOP content, got tired of people saying this game is going to be bad just on the multiplayer aspect. Most S.W.A.T players are not looking for a multiplayer experience but a COOP/solo one with smart AI
given i play a lot of barotrauma that well made mix of smart ai/player game is a MUST for in baro it gets by on the ai. just a pair of skilled players who know what they need to do is set game, here the ai needs ot know all the poables it should know as your not knowing as well. but ya this game looks wonderful and from veiwer perspective feels grate

It's confirmed to be on the internal to-do list. There isn't dismemberment in the Alpha as I have played it. But the Beta will almost definitely have gore.
they said gore is still being worked on, so yes gore will definitely be in the game, the question is when.
If they do a good gore system I will marry this game.

I really missed this genre. Sierra did a fantastic job with their SWAT series so this is a welcome surprise since we're probably not getting SWAT5

That PvP demo was an anomaly. It didn't look much like the PvE I was playing.
One thing I think that would really improve the immersion of the game (and I really hope the developers see this) is that the enemies should have voice lines screaming at each other and screaming at the player/s every once in a while just like videos we see online these situations are shit shows and I hope that having enemy voice lines would really add positively to the general mood of the game
And just other little details that add a story and immersion to each an every mission. Reasons to why were here and why this all happened in the first place.
I really like how firefights are chaotic flashes and dust everywhere. More of that.
The sound in this game is amazing. Looks solid all around. I feel like they need some radio chatter like the original SWAT series had, having to call in detainee’s, KIA and etc.

Hopes are high for this game.. Hope they improve the AI before making it accessible on steam
Specially team AI. They tend to walk straight at the enemy and just die all in the same spot.
They are improving the enemy A.I so that they act less robotic, as for the team A.I I'm pretty sure they are making improvements too.

That first suspect takedown was awesome. The lifting of the media embargo was the best gift for the holidays Void delivered so far.
Game looks and sounds pretty damn good for an alpha. I know it's subject to change but I do hope they change the voice acting, the swat guys sound like they're having a casual conversation and command sounds like he's from metal gear solid. SWAT4 really did a good job with the voice acting and I hope this game can deliver in the future as well.

Yeah, in Swat 4, the SWAT officers were genuinely *screaming* at the suspects to comply, not politely-but-firmly asking.
I just want better (and more!) VAs for the civilians, detaining the women are the worst. "NICE GUNS!!! NICE TATTOOS!!!"
What a great surprise, some people were trashing the development of this game, i tought it was gonna be a flop but the game looks very promissing, the gameplay is slow and metodic and the sound design is excellent! Can't wait to play this game!
To be honest, it was a well deserved trashing. The status of the game few months ago was like a bad joke for those who dropped the 110$.
I love how the game looks but this doesn't take out what they did.

@@hiago959 they also were, and are, years behind the date of an open alpha which then opened only to the supporters, the PVP was a bad joke and the PVE pretty much the same and not until this patch the game was apparently unplayable up to a meme level.

@@macalpha4099 no, you can tell what he means, but only in very certain spots. For example I thought "This looks really similar to Tarkov" in one part (only lasted a few seconds though, the frame has to be specific to give that impression).
The people that replied to you seem to not understand immersion and realism at its finest. I couldn't tell the difference either, the games are both so good looking.

Some of these use of force penalties make me roll my eyes. SWAT, Zero Hour, no one seems to get the windows in a sweet spot. Still, game looks amazing. Definitely buying.

This is the first realistic shooter I’ve seen where your character actually takes some time to check the ammo inside the magazine. Every other game just has your guy eject it from the gun, glance at it for 2 seconds, somehow know that only a quarter of it is filled, and loaded back into the gun

I'm a little confused by the "unauthorized use of force" thing. In zero hour it shows that when you shot them without commanding them to drop the gun. But in this they shot you first and you still got the penalty.
lol this is almost a Christmas miracle! It actually looks like a game now. The enemies act very nice through the environment too. Maybe not realistically but thoughtfully enough to setup ambushes and stuff. Just remove the finger from the triggers and it's a nice beta already.

piece of advice for simulator gameplay like this, from someone who does this for a living: Violence of action. Once the flash goes off, enter the room and clear the door way. I know it's tempting to enter, stand behind cover and scan the room, but you have to immediately clear so you can get more guns in the fight. Moving, and overwhelming firepower, is more important than cover in a CQB situation
You have to try out "Zero hour" it's also a tactical swat game I loving this game so much!
They have but personally that compared to this seems like a lite version this looks much more enjoyable

I feel the same way about siege lmao. When it first launched with the original operators was the only time it represented a somewhat realistic tactical shooter. All the skins and silly new operators that can charge through walls and deploy cloaked poison traps made the game silly.

@@niros9667 i disagree about the missed opportunity, if they focused on way more realism the game would have a lot less content and less ways to simply play around objectives and the game would have died a lot faster, and if 3 ops getting stuck in bear traps under a window was less silly then a cloaked poison trap then your just hating for no reason. this game looks fun but i doubt its gonna last anywhere near how long siege has lasted
