    I can't help but feel extreme pressure on my elbow when I try to one arm hang! Any tips for safely correcting that?

      Keep working at it with your feet supported and it should build up

    Is it safe to relax your body/back during the single arm hang or should you keep tighten your upperbody? I already have left shoulder/lat pain for years but it got better since i started doing hanging with both arms while relaxing my upper body. Im afraid to mess up my shoulder with single arm hanging while relaxing upper body

      at first you'll want to keep everything engaged until you build up strength, but over time it can become a relaxed position too!

    I’m glad I came across your channel
    I’ve been a physical fitness trainer for 30 years.
    Way back in the day the teaching was so linear and as I got older wiser and knew my body I would question their teachings.
    I knew the body works in so many different ways / angels etc
    You show how we as humans are meant to work our body’s
    And you do it in a very educational/ demonstrative way that makes perfect sense.
    My workouts have become 75% ( at least ) of these types of exercises and movements and I live a better life within my body.
    Feeling great and working great
    Your awesome
    Keep up the fantastic work bud 👍👍👍👍👍👍

    I'm doing this now. But i still can't hang with one arm. For the record right now i can only hang for 45 second max with two arm. How long should i hang with two arms to be able to hang with one arm for 30 seconds?

      there's no set number! But the longer you can hold with 2 hands, the easier it'll be to do 1! Around 2mins for a two arm hang is a good aim!

    Is it wise to try the full movement without doctors advise ?😂

    • @TomMorrison
      @TomMorrison  7 місяців тому

      As long as you build yourself up to it properly you dont need doctors advice 😁
