    Nice truck! Glad u got a 7.tree. I put the leveling kit on mine, it pointed the nose up, so I bought a super heavy duty set of rear springs… now it toes better, and has that factory rake back to it!!!!

    Welcome back to the Channel. I miss following your 7.3 build. I bought a 2004 f250 6.0 diesel new in 2004. My biggest regret was standing right next to my 6.0 truck was the exact same truck 😢 only with the last of the 7.3 engines. I shouldn't have listened to the Salesman. Anyway after 96000 miles later, $16000.00 my 6.0 is rock solid like it should have been from the factory. Keep making those videos I very much enjoy them. I am going to enjoy following you on the new build. John😊

I've been wanting to change out my front springs and a 2.5 leveling kit sounds like perfect. I've got 370K and my stock tires rub in the wheel wells when turning sharp because the springs sag so much!

    • @LivingOnWheels
      @LivingOnWheels  11 місяців тому +1

      Glad to have you following along. I think the first thing I’d do if I was in your shoes is replace the worn out factory leaf’s with a new leaf pack. That will make a good difference. If your looking for a bit of a level then I’d recommend going with X-code springs. They will bring the front end up a little higher than the standard stock springs.

    Dude just came across your channel. Your new SD isn't even broke in yet at the miles on it. That thing looks brand new compared to my 01 SD crew cab 4x4. Every panel has a dent and the paint is peeling off almost on every panel as well. Just about to roll 300k over on it. Mechanically it's solid I don't skip on doing pm on all three of my Fords and anything else that runs on diesel or gas sitting in the yard. Only thing I've done to mine was install a 50 gal Titan fuel tank and seats out of a 2013 SD XLT. That factory bench seat of torture that came in it was just more than my old bones could take. Looking forward to the video's to see what you do to it. Got yourself a new sub as well.

      They all have their pros and cons. I still think ford has the best truck build quality. at least with these older rigs.

    I've enjoyed your content, and made the decision to go with the AC coded injectors after watching your videos. Thank you for the good well built videos. I do have a question for you though, have you ever looked into the ais style air filter system that used to be built by Ford? I know you went aftermarket with your last 7.3, but for me, I need to stick with paper filters as my truck gets used in dusty areas frequently. What research I've done and tests I've witnessed the washable high flow filters flow more air only essentially when freshly cleaned and oiled. They also will restrict air flow faster than a paper filter with the same amount of dirt. I've also witnessed tests where they allow more dust through than the paper. I like to hear your thoughts on this, thanks for your content and time

      I’ve heard of the AIS system but don’t have any real experience with it. That being said, I have no doubt it’s better than the stock setup. Personally if I was you wanting the paper filtered setup I would go with the S&B and use there dry filters. Im sure the AIS would work well but the filters definitely aren’t cheap and I fully trust S&B in regards to filtration quality.

    That’s awesome, your 7.3 videos have been a big help to me. Being in Australia we don’t have as much local knowledge or support. The way you explain and show each step would give anyone the confidence to have a go at fixing the problem them selves. Another 7.3 project is great news for all of us. Thanks mate.
