Magnificent. Truly a magnificent video. The narration, star photography, LED lighting the rocks, time lapse, the video, the hares, the views. Really enjoyed that Andy 👏
Stunning Andy, absolutely bloody stunning Thanks for sharing, never seen the wreck you filmed, music was perfect and the hares were brilliant. Night footage was ace. 👍🏻

Hi Andy a mate and I camped by Bull Stones the other week just along from the spring. We also saw some hares in the distance brilliant. Very windy night but nice day. I parked by Langsett barn end. Great footage again and really enjoy the videos it gives us all different ideas for walks and camps. The building up of knowledge about available water I find invaluable. Atb Dave 😁👍

Awesome work Andy. Breathtaking time lapse. Just moved house and not been able to check in to watch your latest till now. Very glad I did. Very lucky to see all those mountain hares. Still hoping to see one! Cheers for the inspiration, Simon from Derby (well Matlock now)
Hi Simon it's quite populated round the howden Moors with the hares one if reasons its a popular walk for me,although you can go up hoping to see them & not see any, then another time you can go just for the walk & they're all over the place lol.tfw mate.Andy.
Some phenomenal footage Andrew!!. Night shots did come out,and then some.I watched on my phone at work,on my break. Then soon as i got home after work i watched it again but that time i threw it to my big T.V. and mint to watch on big screen. A.T.B. and cheers for putting in the hard yards .
Thanks Fraser..glad the night shots came out it's something ive wanted to have a go at for a while.dont mind putting the effort in to show folk just how amazing these area's are..tfw..Andy.
I agree Andrew it's a real confidence boost to know where the water is. it means you can operate with a little more ease. I gotta say I loved them hare shots - a few in the area as you said - that's great as were the cloud inversions later. A successful camp and outing Andy. Nice one. All the best. Mark
Hi Mark..ayy its good to know the locations of the fresh water springs, saves supping the peak district tea as i call it lol..wildlife in abundance up there Mark which is great to see, lots of hares, golden plovers & curlews etc..love waking to those mornings like that the sunrise & seeing the inversions is something special & is real peaceful to sit & watch.tfw mate..Andy.
@@AndrewBeavers Yes Andy, I think knowing the water sources makes you feel all the more in the know thus at ease to enjoy all that amazing nature. Peace bro!
Hello Andrew. Really enjoyed you latest video. I've never been as far down that edge as you did. Great shots of the summer birds and hares, as well as the landscape. I was up on Burbage Edge (where I bumped into you & your mate, a few weeks ago), yesterday (Thursday) looking for Ring Ouzel. Got soaked and never saw a single bird! Looking forward to your next video. Take care. Regards. Robert
Hi Robert.lovely area up there you ought to have a walk up,one of my fav area's up there, the views & wildlife are great & the gritstone at crowstones is something special to see the way they have been formed by the elements.tfw..Andy.
Another cracking Vid Andy. I was feeling a bit down in the dumps and that’s cheered me right up. I’ve camped at Marjory stones before but will be heading over to crowstones next time see if I can spot that plane wreck! Those stills are absolutely amazing again mate. Thanks for posting bud much appreciated 👍👍👍
Thanks Darren..well glad it cheered you up mate..i camped at margory stones in autumn & that was a great camp there.if you walk along the lower path from bullstones heading to crowstones & keep youre eyes right up one of the gills with the grouse butts you will see the wreck.walked on there & to the wreck several times & its always a surreal feeling being there as it is with all the crash sites ive visited.tfw..Andy.
Brilliant Andy. You're dropping on very lucky these days for sunrises, inversions and alike. Even the wildlife are posing for you. Really like what you did with the rock photos. Did you light paint or just have a stationary lamp casting over the rock? Hopefully see you next week. Working on it now 😉. Cheers Mez.
Cheers Paul ayy not doing too bad of late pal,i must have the luck o my side lol..i had a go at light painting with my little led light ive for my tent, worked a treat.looking forward to the wknd pal hope you can make it.tfw..Andy.
Great stuff Andy , plenty of wildlife about now and you captured it nicely . I have the same problem on the Bewcastle Fells with pitching that heather makes it a little tricky. I can see why its a favourite of yours , could see myself down there one day . You got some great photos aswell and Sunrise/sets again :-) atb Dave...
Thanks Dave..lots of wildlife up there mate & good to see it doing so well..great spot up there one of my fav spots for a lunch stop on my regular walks up there, but it is quite thick with the heather & where i pitched was about the only spot i could get tent in,not a bad spot really tbh..tfw mate..Andy.
Loved this video. l was up at crow stones Friday just gone, only a day hike but I went up via broadhead Clough off the main path from slippery stones upto some un-named rocks between crow and bull stones, headed down cut gate after. Didn't see a soul all day after leaving main track at bottom. Beautiful. I originally wanted to find lord edward howards spring....I thought balls to that when I saw where it actually is....I doubt the Lord ever even went there...too hard and looks like you're going to get your feet wet! Proper grueller that broadhead Clough path, I only had a light pack on but I'm just getting over a torn tendon in my leg. A fit bloke would still be blowing like mad I reckon though, dead steep.
Hi John yes I've done Broad head clough with that very intention of finding the spring, it sure is a right slog..fantastic area the upper derwent though my favourite part of the dark peak. tfw.
Yeah I was actually on my toes trying to jog the steepest bits, and with a bit of a dodgy leg it wa' proper serious pain. Never connected with the P.D like I did when I got to the top before though, and I've been going out for 40 odd year. I'm 53 nah, from Sheffield like and I had some beautiful moments in that area, the kind where you want some of your ashes scattered there...ffs.. it was beautiful.
Cool filming. I've not done much in the Peaks. Definitely have to though..great inversion to wake up to. Subbed and now working through your other vids for some inspiration
Thanks mate.great place the peak district,so much to explore.may not have the high peaks like the lakes for example but it has it's own unique character.thanks for the sub mate & hope you enjoy watching the rest of the vids.tfw..Andy.
Had a second view of this video Andy after meeting you last Friday near Howden. Great to meet you. Cracking video. Will follow your recommendation and hike/camp this one. Cheers.
Hi Alan..yes good to meet you that day hope you had a good day's walking.certainly worth the walk up there initially to get a good lay of the land & the views are certainly worth it.tfw..Andy.
Lovely video mate, I had to do the school run that morning before i could get into the peak district and i only got the end of the temp inversion as i drove near hathersage . Perfect time of year for them at the moment .
