What? He didn’t say anything to her. Ladies, you better talk to your sisters, cause men are getting tired and men will completely stop giving you attention all together. This movement is not making it better for women, but worse. What else do women want?
I'm the only female plumber where I work. I didn't think they'd hire me, but I appreciate them 4 givin' me a chance! I will not let my co-workers down!🙏
Yep ran a Jewelry shop with several women and men. Women were always fighting and stirring up problems that really didn't exist. The men just sat there and worked in silence.
My ex was manager of a hospital department with perhaps 80% women, and every time he came home frustrated about some work drama, it involved the females. There was literally always some kind of drama they were involved in, and I mean they'd even get into arguments and leave work during a shift. He NEVER had a problem with the men. They kept to themselves and did their jobs. Years later, my dad achieved seniority position at his job and dealt with the same issues involving the women there.
My boss told me I looked nice once and you know what I did? I blushed, thanked him politely and kept going. I felt like a million bucks and he felt like a gentleman I’m sure. The end- no harassment, no hate, no going too far.

Most men only tell a woman that she looks nice because they want to see her smile. Women just need to learn how to identify the creeps but Instead of teaching women how to identify the creeps, we teach them to be children. Women only need to ask any man who the creeps are because men can easily identify them.
I always preferred working with men over women. I came through the Era before all this sexual harassment/assault claims. I remember when it started. My co-workers joked with me that I'd be in trouble because I would take them by the arm while I walked and talked with them.
So true! Women are rarely the best boss or co-worker! I've been lucky to work in mostly male dominated environments for 40 years. I don't even have an interest in voting for women. Most are poor leaders!

I could say the same thing about the reverse. Most men are not toxic. But all it takes is one toxic man to destroy your entire career and life through sexual harassment and rape. I worked with a whole bunch of teenagers and it was an all female crew. Our supervisor who was closer to there age then Mine. He trained me one on one was super respectful and really nice. Never inappropriate. I usually worked weekdays and the other girls worked weekend. One weekend I had to work with them. One of the girls started saying how he had harassed her. And I was genuinely surprised. I asked what had happened and she said he asked her for her Facebook. And I asked them then what happened. She looked so confused. Like if I was supposed to blindly accept that explanation. and the rest of the girls were like he asked for our facebooks. That's creepy. I was like is he not supposed to do that? I said he asked if I had a Facebook as well so that I can follow the Business's social media because that's were he sends group messages for all of us to communicate about meeting and hours and general stuff. And they said yeah you don't think that's weird. What if he stalks us. There whole claim about harassment was because he wanted to add us to a group chat that was associated with the business. When he quit an new guy came in. Same girl was literally throwing herself at him. And she told everyone how this guy liked her. I told her I didn't think that was the case and she got so offended. Turned out he was gay and definitely not attracted to her. These young lady's are completely delusional.
I Can agree with you! 18 yrs old still in school but I was raised differently and when I worked I always talked to the older people now that I stopped working n started talking to the girls at my school and listening to what they had to say I knew my generation was going downhill especially the grades below me. I have nothing in common and they are all delusional no matter how much I try to say the truth and the reality they look at me as if I think I’m all that for knowing so much.
Exactly. My male co-worker complimented my shoes and a female co-worker later "suggested" I go to HR for "sexual harassment". Incredulously, I asked how the hell was complimenting my SHOES sexual harassment? She had the nerve to say that she'd noticed I "seemed" a little uncomfortable. 🙄 No, Karen, I wasn't uncomfortable in the least. My shoes were flawless and I was happy someone noticed and even happier that it was a man who noticed. I didn't bother pointing out that my appreciation of a man's compliment "seemed" to make her uncomfortable 😏
She is obviously jealous you getting the attention and not her. She's trying to manipulate you into a position where you are perceived as difficult to work with at your work place which is one step away from being let go. Then she will be the only one to get the attention. That's a psycho right there.
exactly if any ever came up to me and said they like my hair or my shoes, or my outfit etc. it would make me happy make my day actually. it's like some girls think to themselves " wow that guy exists in the same room as me ? breathing the same air as me ? I'm going to destroy him however I can!" and most guys are just thinking " please don't hurt my feelings today " lol
Before I retired, I would compliment people on physical attributes (hair cut, outfit, lost weight) and a manager came to me said we would fire you for that if you weren’t in a protected class. (Over 60 and handicapped) I told him that was ridiculous and he agreed.
Working as a Cna in a field with majority women, it gets rough. a couple women did don’t like a certain nurse, they talked shit and riled up the rest of us to sign a note to get her extension contract denied. This nurse was soooo nice and I feel bad because I was young and just trying to stay on the other women’s good side so the same thing didn’t happen to me and i wish I spoke up. This nurse’s daughter was having mental health issues and she really wanted to stay in town with a travel nurse salary to help her daughter as much as possible. These other women lied and said the nurse never helped the Cna’s just because sometimes this nurse wasn’t feeling as energetic as the rest of us. Women are petty for no reason sometimes. We need to be better.
A female co-worker came up to all the guys in the back and said, "No one said anything about my hair". We all said, almost in unison, "I'm not trying to lose my job"
In my head, I can image multiple guys sounding like kids trying to speak in unison. I bet if it was in unison, you guys could've formed a singing group right there 😂
A male coworker said I love your new haircut to another coworker she turned him in. I was his witness and she got in trouble this was back in the 90's.
That dude’s only chance was that it was still the 90s and while this stuff was creeping in, there was still enough common sense left over that with a female witness he was acquitted.
That’s why I go to work and work. I try to not talk to woman at work, there’s no value there, just downside. If I talk to them, it’s only in a group or team setting. There’s too many huddles out there just trying to get paid, like Candace is saying here
I'm a female boss, and had an issue with a young woman I hired. She was so entitled and had no concept of "you were hired for this schedule" . Constantly needing to change her availability, would request time off, and if told it wasn't possible, would say, "well my trip is already bought and paid for....so". Needless to say she quit because she didn't get her way.
There's a balance to be struck, an employee shouldn't be disrespected or exploited, but an employee should aim to be reliable and aspire to do good work. Sounds like it was no loss to lose that girl.
I'm a paralegal and a young woman who was a neighbor knew that I was and asked me what was the best way to be able to sue her boss and what she would have to say to prove that he had sexually harassed her "when he had never done so"! She even asked me if she would need a couple of witnesses to state what she was saying! This was all because she didn't feel like working anymore. Of course I told her I had no idea. This is how evil and diabolical people are in this day and age and the women know they can get away with this crap.
I also think if a woman claims rape and it was proven to never happened, should have to go to jail, for double the time the man would have gotten. Double because she also ruined his reputation, because some people might still think he was guilty.
Well that woman is stupid. To have a valid sexual harassment claim, you need actual evidence. Even though there are clowns like this who will exploit the protection, there are far more women who suffer in silence for fear of losing their jobs. Once I knew my rights, I reported my harassers. I was just minding my own business, just trying to go to work and some guys cannot take no for an answer and they really do create a toxic work environment. It would be good for more men to learn that if a woman is not interested, it is not okay to relentlessly keep trying and wear her down to force her to accept your advances. If you have a girlfriend, a wife, or a sister, chances are that she has dealt with sexual harassment at some point. Ask her about it and it will probably make you very upset, but more often than not, women try to keep the peace in these situations, especially because you as the woman are putting your own reputation on the line and you risk being ostracized by coworkers when you report someone. You will automatically be looked at as a trouble-starter and an evil witch for speaking out, so it's not some sort of fun game! The stigma FOLLOWS YOU and the poor guy is seen as the victim. But the reality is that this behavior is far more common than a lot of men realize and it takes *courage* to speak out, so most women just endure it or change jobs.

I’ve always preferred to work with men. They aren’t as petty, catty, & cruel as women can be. Not all women are bad, but it only takes one to ruin the atmosphere. I have worked with some strong, smart women who were my greatest mentors! I respected them. They got the position by hard work & knowledge of the tasks. They didn’t sleep their way up or get their position through unscrupulous actions.
When I was 18 I got my first job in an accounting office. A man about 30 started complimenting me about my appearance and I felt a little strange but brushes it off. Later he started calling my desk and telling me creepy things like," I love how yellow looks on your body". It wasn't just what he said but also his tone and sneakiness. I at the time didn't know what to do or who to tell. And when I did tell another coworker they told me it was nothing. This went on for months because I feared he would do something to me or that I would be fired. There is a big difference between "nice shoes" or "you look nice today" and being sleezy. It is important that women can speak up. But at the same time, women shouldn't take advantage of the progress society has made in the work place by calling out everything as harrassment. It's like the boy who cried wolf. We as a society have to find a right balance.

1 guy maybe, 2 possibly, after a 3rd time it just seems phony. Like the company probably informed its employees about sexual harassment, abuse etc after each incident. Also just seems odd that everyone wants to r*pe this 1 woman. As men we’re assumed bad but they’re assumed innocent or very attractive. When there’s no proof to assume guilt for the man nor innocence in general so the man is “always at fault” It be like this tho where we know what we’re dealing with and bring all the evidence we need to clear our names and prevent false claims and we still get criticized. I used to work for a supervisor who refused to hire women and we would always tell him ,"dude, it's a sausage fest around here, hire some chicks" and he would instantly say "nope, they're nothing but problems, not going to do it". A few years later, I returned to that store to purchase something and a few of the guys I used to work with were still there as well as some women because there was a new supervisor. I invited the whole department out for drinks and dinner afterwards at a local restaurant and one of the girls came and she was a great person to talk to. A few days later I added her on Instagram because she came up as people you may know and probably had two exchanges with her which were simply just responses to her Instagram story. The next time I went into the store, that new supervisor asked me to come to the side and said she doesn't feel comfortable with me and was nervous that I may come back into the store one day and right away I pulled out my phone and showed him exactly what was written to her (which was no more than possibly 10 words together on both of those Instagram stories). He immediately told me to wait on the side (I looked around and spoke to some of the employees about music etc) and went to her to say something. The next thing I saw was her leaving out the front with something upset. So he came back up to me and said "problem solved" I looked and said "dude 2hat happened?" He responded with "I was being nice Alex, she told me and others in this store that you were writing to her constantly and being sexual. You showed me proof you weren't. Case closed , brother, I let her go" Till this day I'm still shocked how all that went with someone who was amongst a crowd, got invited out in a group, was spoken to nicely, interacted with kindly on social media and I was still spoken about in a bad way.

Really pissed me off but then I noticed she was stalking my social media by watching my stories. So I blocked her because that’s f’d up.

I generally agree with you but I want to point out that some men do mean something deeper and give you “compliments” that make you really uncomfortable and are actually pretty gross. I've always thought about this issue. A woman deciding whether a comment directed at her is a compliment or a sexual harassment depends on how good looking the guy is. Thank you for the validation.
Not to me... A compliment is a compliment no matter what the person looks like. If you'd said that a come-on is creepy or not depending on the looks of the person then that would be more accurate🤷🏽
I don’t know if it’s culture (Brazilian) or being raised by my mother and sister (no men), but it’s not difficult to differentiate between a compliment and malice. There’s a lot of victim mentality going around. It’s one thing to voice injustice and another to see injustice everywhere.

@@mastergirl922 If you look at your own comment, you're making it sound like you hope she agrees to the not hiring women part, and not the part about holding women accountable. I assume you meant it the other way around ("former", not "latter"), as otherwise it sounds like you're ok with hiring discrimination against women as long as they can do whatever they want without consequences.
I worked for a business owner that thought the same way. We could only hire a woman if he interviewed her or knew her in some fashion. He NEVER hired a woman he didn’t know. He also NEVER had a sexual harassment claim filed against his business or any of his employees. So there is that.
There is another problem not mentioned: even if the boss knows that some particular woman is completely sane and trustworthy, her mere presence can bring anxiety to the surrounding man and decrease the efficiency of the entire crew. She may also take advantage of her gender and evade some of her work by transitioning it on man, which they would likely accept under the threat of being accused of smith. And the boss will never no, cause no one will complain for the same reason.
I'm a woman (not gay). One night at a club the guys at our table commented how attractive this woman looked. Later...in the bathroom at the same time as her and her friends, I (stupid) conveyed their opinions to compliment her. 5 minutes later, security guard asked me to leave for hitting on a girl in the toilet??? The whole table of 30 people, got up and left politely. On the way out my male friend stopped at her table and said, "what she said was true but sadly, you're ugly on the inside." I learnt my lesson. NEVER EVER COMPLIMENT A WOMAN!!!! Even if you are one.
My brother was a young, male music teacher. One of his previous students liked him and when he didn’t react how she wanted him to (obviously that’s inappropriate and he would never pursue it and he was dating his now wife), she retaliated by telling the school that he texted to her, “gave her a piggy back ride”, visited her at work. Obviously no evidence of inappropriate actions on his part because he didn’t do anything wrong, yet they took the side of the girl and he lost his job and education board took his teaching license away. All because of her unfounded allegations.

I appreciated when they would compliment my outfit or how I looked that day not that I was searching for attention but I saw them as friends/ equally and if I thought they looked good/ say in a new shirt or haircut would let them know as well. We even dare I share exchanged hugs and there was absolutely nothing sexual about it. I get what you mean thou, I couldn't say to another bloke on the same construction site, "hey, you look good in those jeans mate" or as you say, "you look nice today" coz at minimum I'd get something like, "you right there mate?" I have done and still do compliment other guys on their hair, suit, shirt, pants, beard, shoes, etc., but I would never feel comfortable just walking up to a dude and saying "you look nice today" cause they would either say "are you ok?" or just give you a weird look or a simple "ok, thanks? I'm a married middle aged woman. Last year on my way to the office I was in the elevator with a very handsome, rugged man I guessed was in my age group. Men do not get complimented often, most men could tell you the last time they were and where / what it was. 2 and a half ish years ago, a women in front of me in the Walmart checkout told me I looked and acted like a true gentleman and that she noticed and appreciated my efforts as they are not very common anymore (I had opened the door for her on the way in and she said my "old school" watch made me look very nice and that she prefers old school watches to smart watches). It ended there, I said "Thank you for noticing, that just made my day." I didn't make any advances and neither did she it was just a nice moment. It's crazy isn't it because women wear nice clothes and get their nails done so that other people think they look nice. Yeah you do it for yourself to feel confident etc but part of that feeling confident is based on how other people see you, there's no getting away from that. So to then chastise people for acknowledging that you look nice is just insane. Yeah there used to be a time where guys would cross the line and slap women on the bum in the workplace or only see value in the way she looks, and fair enough most women wouldn't want that, but we got past that a while ago, it didn't need to go further than eliminating unwanted touching of personal areas or only seeing value in looks.

Case closed , brother, I let her go"
Till this day I'm still shocked how all that went with someone who was amongst a crowd, got invited out in a group, was spoken to nicely, interacted with kindly on social media and I was still spoken about in a bad way.

Really pissed me off but then I noticed she was stalking my social media by watching my stories. So I blocked her because that’s f’d up.

Im a woman and I wouldn’t hire a woman.
Some women really take kindness to an extreme.
Wow
Woow!
Women like that are looking to sue, money talks.
What do people gain from complimenting random strangers, though. 😂 I don't even care what strangers look like.
I have a hard time believing this happened the way you said it did.
Almost sounds safer to just go for the student. Tbh though I don’t know how younger teachers do it these days
That is disgusting!
@@AlderaansRanger no, that is absolutely not an option, and never should even be considered. She’s obviously young, and she doesn’t understand what she’s done yet.

I could not agree more! I worked in Corporate America for 20 year's and was blessed to have a great relationship with my male coworkers. Most of us were married, regardless we we're both at a shit company trying to get through the day and formed friendships as 'people'. Women who have those ideologues ruin everything. They have giant chips on their shoulders and look to be 'Offended' everywhere they go. Yes, I know they're are jerks out there but I've seen women use their sexuality on male co-workers just the same. We have to protect our men from the Progressive Left Loonies and fight back against double standard feminist!

Amén! Love this comment.
The only thing a man ever said to me in an office setting was you look nice today. I took it for a compliment. I think I might have used it to compliment others both male and female because it’s pretty generic yet appropriate.
Well listen you sound like you have common sense the problem is common sense isn’t common anymore especially when we have people going around saying there’s 50 genders and shit
As woman, that works for you for compliments for both men and women. As a man, I'd never go up to another man and say "you look nice today".
@@keinlieb3818 why not mate; the other day I said to a bloke on a contruction site we are both working on, "hey, like your beard man." He turned around and said, "like yours too brother." And we both accepted each others compliment without any sexual overtones.
I get what you mean thou, I couldn't say to another bloke on the same construction site, "hey, you look good in those jeans mate" or as you say, "you look nice today" coz at minimum I'd get something like, "you right there mate?"
Or as happened the other day, I caught a Dogman, part of a crane crew, taking a photo of me - to my thinking he is a real man's man, but he replied the photo was for his Grinder storage - so you just don't know and it's complex right?
@@michaelbastin9851 yeah, walking up to a dude and saying "damn, nice beard" (which is something I actually did with a guy when I was at an airport while waiting for my bag because the dude did have a very impressive beard and we had a conversation about how he maintained it and it was a very cordial conversation), is definitely much different than walking up to the dude and saying "wow, you look nice".
I have done and still do compliment other guys on their hair, suit, shirt, pants, beard, shoes, etc., but I would never feel comfortable just walking up to a dude and saying "you look nice today" cause they would either say "are you ok?" or just give you a weird look or a simple "ok, thanks? I guess?"
But, for a woman, if she walked up to me and said "you look nice today" I would definitely take it as a compliment and reply "thank you! So do you!" and go about my business.

Hire Woman = 100% risks - 0% benefits!
I'm a married middle aged woman. Last year on my way to the office I was in the elevator with a very handsome, rugged man I guessed was in my age group. I basically said "I'm not putting the moves on you sir, but you're gorgeous and I think you should know." He was stunned, sputtered and said "Thank you ma'am! You just made my whole year!" A complete stranger I hadn't seen before or since. I would not have done that if there were other people in the elevator. I believe we can sincerely compliment others on their appearance without being salacious.

It's ok to compliment men, it's only ok to compliment woman if they find you attractive
I still think about that a few times a month, I couldn't even tell you her name, but she made my day better and the thought still improves my day when I am having a rough day and think of it.

I do remember the last time a woman gave me a sincere compliment, but it certainly wasn't for my looks 😅
It was an elderly lady (from a simpler time), who complimented me for helping her out at the store by calling me a gentleman.
Admittedly, I do cherish such moments, and tend to remember them for quite some time, likely because they're pretty far between.
I don't think I've ever received a compliment from someone my own age though, especially not in a work space.

In a bygone era this would have been Normal…
I asked my old boss if he was every worried about being in a room alone with me because I was a woman. He told me that yes he was honestly concerned at times because if I decided to lie about something he felt he would be ruined and no one would believe him and there would be nothing he could do, therefore he tried hard to never be in a room alone with me. As his direct report that made things difficult sometimes, but I completely understood where he was coming from.
She’s 200% right! A lady invited to wine tasting event so couple of days later I approached her to ask if we were going. Of course HR is only women so they took the side of the complaining ladies!

How many females everyday would report a male because he refused to give her a compliment? do you have a girlfriend or a wife? if yes, does she tell you that she's upset when the men in her workplace or random men in the streets refused to give her a compliment? if you're single then ask your mother or grandmother if they get upset when men who aren't related to them and men who doesn't have any relationship with them doesn't compliment them. Men are constantly apologizing to me for calling me things like sweetie are other harmless words that I do not find offensive, but I don't blame them though.
It's weird I've had things happen to me in my last job that was a bit much. I, 21 at the time, was asked to work extra hours I accepted and he (45-50) hugged me from behind and then kissed my cheek. It was extremely uncomfortable but I didn't really feel the need to say anything it was uncomfortable for me but was just harmless to him. The other "compliment" I had though I really hated - I like it when you sweep the floor as it means I can look at your tits and see what bra you are wearing today.
