He did know. I just wish he would have let us all know. I would have moved the sun and the moon to see him one more time. God Bless You Jimmy! You saved my life on multiple occasions. ❤
Thank you so much for posting this video. God love him, you could tell he was very sick as he'd lost so much weight, but his voice was still crystal! Rest in Paradise, Jimmy. You gave me the soundtrack for my life.
I am sad that the Son of a Son of a Sailor passed away at 76. Jimmy Buffet, THANK YOU for all the music, all the memories, and all the parties-a grateful fan. John Elden
Take a note or two, phrase, or diddy from his songbook and be humbly happy and peaceful in life. Thank you Jimmy. Wind to your back. Keep'em between the buyous up there!
I hate I missed this concert! Was in Key West this past may and went to Margaritaville. I did see him in concert in Atlanta in the 1980s . Been a Parrothead since then! Jimmy deserves every dime he has made! I hope his health is better! Thank you, Jimmy for making my early (and later) adulthood so much fun! Passing it on to my Gen Z children, who we introduced you to in Key West!
You were the best, Jimmy, and I love the fact that so many of us knew old pirates and smugglers that we all thought you were singing about our loved ones...but now you and them are up there laughing at us...love, my friend.
Cheers buddy from a fellow retired USN. I know it's not the same as sailing, but I always loved approaching a Caribbean port around sunup. Maybe a little bit of a Jimmy Buffett experience.
We saw him2 weeks later in Phoenix. Same tour! Loved seeing Jimmy yet again on stage between Mac and Utley! My first parrot head concert was in 1979 and I gotta say this was even better than the first! Keep sailing on, Jimmy!
Two months after this concert...he's officially a Billionaire! It takes a really smart guy to turn the royalties from a minor hit - Come Monday -into a billion dollars...
I think it goes without saying that it was actually Margaritaville that made him a billionaire... not the song so much as the branding that it brought. The music itself didn't make him a billionaire it’s the business ventures. The resorts, the restaurants/bars, the retirement developments, and whatever else he's involved with. He's a successful businessman. It started with selling escapism, and ultimately so much more.
@cstar54 which is only ONE point among others, why he's never been nominated for or elected into the Rock and Roll hall of fame. Let's start with Depeche Mode, The Go Go's, and Tupac. What the hell. Those acts have no business being in there, and yet they are, and Buffett has never even been nominated.
Never had the chance to see him in concert. I was hoping to one day. Im sad i never had the chance. His music will live on forever in our hearts and minds. God has an amazing show in front him. RIP Kind sir
My grandfather was an ore boat captain on the Great lakes.. my biological father worked on them.... And I spent almost 7 Years on fishing Boat in the gulf. The love of my life is my shelter island gurl. 😊
He brought escape to life. He made his money off of celebrating life vacations island life. He was true to himself and he marketed it. But Come Monday was his break through song!
YES! One of the many vids here on UA-cam (can’t remember which one) he shared the story of going back years later and dropping an envelope of $$ off to cover his younger mis-deeds! 😂
Jimmy we are roughly the same age, but I've haven't shaved my mustache since navy boot camp at great lakes in 1972. Don't plan on it either. Although my wife and mines 50th anniversary is coming up. She's never seen me without it. What would you do? Seen you many times at Starlake out side of Pitts burgh. The second time was there was a power problem and you played an a acoustic set. R e member? Miss you J.B.
Somehow the show must go on and can we continue the concerts every year ? Please consider getting the Mac macanally and the blonde stranger to continue the concerts ? Start at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville Tennessee 4:014:014:014:014:01 Yf
Now I understand what Jimmy meant when he said that in his apology for having to cancel his concert tour. Getting old isn't for sissies. I didn't know he was fighting a losing battle with skin cancer for the last 4 years of his life.😢😊
He died 6 months after this. He knew at this concert he was soon to depart the earth, look how happy he is. Respect
❤
Not how it works..

I’d. like to thank Mac for keeping Jimmy’s music alive ❤
The joy he had for life
If we all had that
What a world it would be
Amen. Now let's all get waisted in honor of thee amazing margarita man. Our Lord and Savior. ❤❤😢
He did exactly what he wanted to do. Sun ,sail, sing, and play his music for us. And put a smile on our face. ❤

Thank you Mr Buffett...rest in peace, an American icon to be sure.
As a born and raised conch and life long parrothead, all i can say is thank you jimmy, your music made me a better person !
Amazing how his voice sounds - exactly the same as it did 40 yrs ago.
Loved the way he smiled through his songs, he was a singing vacation
What I was just thinking!
Take a note or two, phrase, or diddy from his songbook and be humbly happy and peaceful in life. Thank you Jimmy. Wind to your back. Keep'em between the buyous up there!
Love that phrase- a singing vacation!!❤
Love how you worded this! He was indeed “A SINGING VACATION!!!” He is so dearly missed!

This song takes me back to the 1960's and my Dad teaching me to sail! Rip Dad. RIP Jimmy!
I was there. So thankful I made the trip to hear songs live from the soundtrack of my life one last time. I am the Son of a Son of a Sailor.
So lucky, jimmy buffet in key west is pure perfection
And my Mrs. and & I were there also, but not on that date. I am the son of a sailor! We enjoyed all of our trips to Key West!
No place else like Key West! Living LIFE in the spirit of Jimmy!
What can we say! Thank you Jimmy and all the Coral Reefers for all the years of fun and music! Not here for a long time, but enjoy all the good times!
Thank you, Tamlyn, for this post! I miss Jimmy, but at least we had him for awhile! :)
What a beautiful production, wish I had been in the audience 🎉❤

I was at this concert ❤ so sad to lose Jimmy.
Saw him live a few times in the 90s. Never had so much straight up fun at a show!
Jimmy as a retired sailor I love your music. I was on 4 different destroyer sized ships over a 20+ year career.
Cheers buddy from a fellow retired USN. I know it's not the same as sailing, but I always loved approaching a Caribbean port around sunup. Maybe a little bit of a Jimmy Buffett experience.
Would have loved to be there on Feb 11 for my 80th birthday. What is a party!

Thank you for untold moments of joy and laughter from all your CDs and concerts 🎉❤

What do you expect with the last name of Buffet!

…..along with being one of the top tour musicians of the last 49 years or more, lots and lots of sold out venues!!!

glad to see you are stil with us bro
So sad that he is not.
Only fitting he got to play in key west one last time. I would have given anything to be there
The only Buffet concert I was ever lucky enough to see was at the Arie Crown Theatre in Chicago in 1978. It seem like it was yesterday.
Have Never Been ❤
Nice to see he's back. Is he going to tour?
I just want to know if he ever paid the mini-mart back...love Jimmy's early stuff the most

Who is the female soloist at 2:20? That is a nice touch that I had not heard before.
Pardon the spelling: Miss Nadeera Shakur has (had) played with them years. Usually accompanied by Tina Gullickson, known as The Reefer-ettes

Maybe he was a billionaire does it really matter like they say you can't take it with you Jimmy just wanted to make everybody better
Maybe if we could lock Putin in a room with a bottle of rum and Jimmy Buffet music for about 12 hours we could end the war in Ukraine....nahhhh
Man made a 50 year career out of about three songs
No way - many many more songs. He was a helluva songwriter, even Bob Dylan was a fan…
You must live under a rock.
