I have been spoiled by the scouts mobility till the point where I instinctively hot keyed to my platform gun and fired it thinking it was my grapple :)
its actually pretty efficient to use 1 sp shot, grapple, and then use the second if needed. if you dont have a great place to land stacking the upward momentum from the grapple with the second shot gives just enough time to reload, shoot both shots and grapple a second time if needed (and almost stay in the air indefinitely)

u know when I touch special powder my muscle memory just automatically makes me press LeftControl
