Rochester Airport

Rochester Airport is a small enthusiast airport. This places feels very surreal.
This was filmed on a friends Canon EOS 550D single lens reflex camera. It takes videos in MOV format with an unusual codec. There was no end of problems editing this video.

I'm currently learning fly at Rochester and I love the place. It's an incredibly friendly airfield, with tons of history and lots to do and see. The airport café is pretty good too. I'm not sure what you mean by it having a 'surreal' atmosphere, but it is like stepping back into a byegone era, especially with the old, slightly rusty, main hanger and the worn nameplate above its doors. Long may it flourish!!
