I enjoyed the tutorials for the patterns you showed, but I was disappointed that you did not teach the pattern that is in the preview for this tutorial...the gold and brown pattern. Do you have a tutorial for that one? I can't figure out how to deconstruct it. Thanks!
I don't know what version this is but on my CC version on Mac the commands don't do the same thing especially on the circle, also can this be made as repeats to use on photoshop?
I was about to say the same thing, thats what happened on my CC 2017. Did u figure out how to do it? Edit: Just noticed that it works with option, not command.
This might be a stupid question, but how do you get the boxes squared? Maybe I need to change the pixels or something, but I can't get the squares perfectly in-line, like he has it at 1:00. As many times as I try, one (or more) of the boxes is always a hair off centered. This is madden.
Hi @Nobu thanks so much for this tutorial! I'm trying to figure out why 'Expand' is greyed out for me. I followed your steps exactly, but 'Expand' is greyed out while 'Expand appearance' is available. I'm using version 24.3
When you create new document, there is option what unit you want to work with. But if you mean how to convert pt to px, just check this www.endmemo.com/sconvert/pixelpoint.php

Nevermind, I figured it out. The alignment has to be perfect, and using snap to grid isn't enough, you definitely might need to use guides.
@@oloriloladesiyonbola sometime you need to set the grid section first, so it matches the obeject size you created
Be consistent, make mistakes, experint
New at this , question how does pt translate to pixels. I have only worked in pixels?
