Paul Heyman is without a doubt the greatest manager ever and absolutely has one of the most brilliant minds in the wrestling industry. Every time he gets on the mic you know you're in for a ride. He deserves his recognition in the Hall of Fame.
Brock Lesnar,Roman Reigns,CM Punk,RVD,Dudley Boyz,Rick Rude,Bobby Eaton,Steve Austin,Undertaker,Arn Anderson,Cesaro,Kurt Angle The Big Show all these guys were managed by Paul Heyman at one point. He is one of the most creative minds in wrestling. Completely changed the business with the innovative hardcore style in ECW. Great is an understatement.
And former NWA world champion Tommy Rich,Former CWA World heavyweight champion Austin Idol,Humongous (Psycho Sid)Barry "Jack Hart" Horowitz, and Golden Boy Chick Donovan
He's not good. They all fired him. Think about what you're saying with all those names. He's the most annoying person in wrestling. Probably solely the reason alot of people don't watch wrestling anymore
That's why he deserves to be in the Hall of fame cuz he just makes wrestling better and has turned wrestlers into Goats. What a career and he's the reason why wrestling is extreme ❤🐐
Paul is the one true generational talent. There will never be another Paul Heyman. He is the one true genius of the industry. The greatest of all time mind of professional wrestling. This Hall of fame induction is long over due he already deserve this honor with out a doubt. #ThankYouHeyman
There is no wrestling without guys like Heyman. He went to bat for so many guys who became or stayed World Champion. The best to ever spit it on the mic.
i grew up with dvds and old tapes and man paul e fn dangerously is the goat manager of all time and his work with ecw and the attitude era impact aswell
The greatest booker of all time, The greatest manager of all time, The greatest promo of all time, The greatest talent scout of all time... and he did it all with his finger on the pulse of what the fans actually wanted; in my humble opinion Paul Heyman is the greatest mind the industry has ever seen
Easily the best manager of the modern era, arguably the best of all time. There will no doubt be another GOATed manager in the future, but none past, present, or future will be quite like Paul.
Heyman puts over superstars using his words, is himself entertaining to watch whilst doing so, and doesn't take the shine from said superstar. That is talent. He is by far the greatest non wrestling talent in the wrestling world
I had no idea who Paul Heyman was until I saw him manage Brock Lesnar, but from that moment, I was absolutely floored by him. His vocabulary, his voice, his intensity. He was made for this. We're all lucky to have this guy I started watching wrestling around the time The Rock lost against Brock Lesnar, but I had seen and heard a lot before then. My true knowledge started to build on Chris Jericho winning the undisputed title.
I first became aware of Mr. Heyman when he came to the CWA in Memphis. You could tell he had a great mind with his promos back then. When Dusty let him sit in on those production meetings, he was learning from the best. The picture of him with Lou Albano and Bobby Hennan, the very legends Paul is compared to, taught him and expanded his knowledge and power in the industry. He would have made a great lawyer like his dad if he didn't go into wrestling. He not only deserves the HOF but he earned the HOF because of the people he has worked with and put in the HOF.
Paul Heyman has recreated herself time and time and time again he is probably the smartest man in wrestling anybody who can reinvent yourself that many times as a genius
Paul is on his on level.. the rest are beneath him.. no other manager can touch him.. the man has more championships than any other manager.. he’s THE best and greatest of all time.
Historically speaking, wrestling managers tended to be the ones who could hide a wrestler's shortcomings on the mic and would hype up a storyline at the same time. Nobody will ever top Paul Heyman, who has reinvented himself so many times in this industry, as the best hype man in the business.
4:16 No wonder why Paul Heyman did mention Dusty Rhodes in his HOF speech . It's sad he wasn't able to tell the complete story for maybe storyline or whatever reason but I hope we hear about this from the man himself and I am looking so forward to it !! Congratulations for HOF Class of 2024 , Paul Heyman!! You are a freakin legend
As someone who made wrestling my world in the early 80's, i think Bobby The Brain Heenan was the best of all-time. I feel Paul Heyman is the contemporary Bobby Heenen. I think you dod an amazing job on this video. I watch and get into wrestling these days in time blocks, on and off. I love watching nostalgia on the YT curcuit. I watch a lot of stuff and this was one of my favorites. I learned some things i didnt know. Hope to see more.
Thanks for this summary of the life and career of The Paulrus. I knew he had a deep history in the business, but not this deep. Heyman is in the WWE HoF while still quite active in the industry. That says a lot.
I thank him for ECW, because of him, i got to meet quite a few ECW and future WWF/WCW superstars because some of the ECW wrestlers played video games and i would hang out at the Electronic boutique at the roosevelt mall in Philly and the manager there was someone who worked in an indy organization as a manager and knew wrestlers in ECW which is why they shopped there. Stevie Richards being one of them.
That was super duper nice of Dusty to do that for Paul. i had heard Dusty was a nice guy, infact i've heard him, Dustin and Cody are pretty cool people
Now people say “roman put the WWE on his back” yes roman did a lot for the WWE but most of romans success is due to Paul and his work behind the scenes. This is what makes you the GOAT in wrestling. Not titles, not win loss records, not a superstar’s success itself. But the overall impact and behind the scenes impact they made and what they did to make others just as great. Thats why some of the “GOATS” aint goats compared to what we dont see
If i were to wish for a new CEO of wwe after vince mcmahon....PAUL HEYMAN would be my pick and is the real deal Without paul heyman professional wrestling wouldn't be where it is today CREDIT IS DUE 💯
I’ve always thought Bobby the brain ,was the best but the last few years I can’t argue that Paul has moved passed him , what a great eye for talent there would be no undertaker without him
Thanks for this! Paul is my Hebrew brother. Paul and Cornette the greatest promoters, bookers, managers and the 2 single greatest wrestling creative minds of all time.
wow I've followed wrestling for years and it only just clicked to me that Heyman was Paul E Dangerously...also nice to see a young Undertaker so often lol
I put Paul Heyman in the elite class known as the Heenan Class, and there's only 3 people in there: Bobby Heenan, Jim Cornette and Paul Heyman. All 3 in their own way put over the opponent but places their guy just a step higher.
Paul Heyman, formerly Paul E. Dangerously, is probably the greatest creative writer that WWE has ever had. But most importantly, if it wasn't for Heyman and the awesome ECW, neither WWF/E nor WCW would have ever created their Hardcore Wrestling Championship.
People can talk about managers like Bobby The Brain Heenan, Mr Fuji, Jim Cornette, Classie Freddie Blassie, Miss Elizabeth, Captain Lou Albano, Sensational Sherry, Jimmy Hart, Paul Bearer, and while they are all great and some of the best managers of all time, the truth is there is no equal to Paul Heyman. For me, he is head and shoulders above anyone who has ever been in the squared circle as a manager. He truely deserves his hall of fame induction he is a bonafide legend in the wrestling business.
Fine, I guess its time. I will tell you a secret. I taught Paul everything he knows. That's right Me. Like him or hate him. Paul has always been Paul. 😁😁
this is gonna get some flak but lets also not forget how many people have gone on record for not getting paid when working for him / with him (more the former than the latter) hes done a helluva a lot and deserves much praise and recognition for what he has contributed and brought to the (pro-wrestling) "Ring". But Mike Awesome and RVD (among others) didnt get paid in a timely fashion and at the end of the day, you can make money or friends in wrestling. and making money and making a living are a wee bit more important to some people.
Was Paul going to work some angle one time with a former ecw lieutenant where simulated bodily harm would befall Paul and said performer as though happening out of the audience ? Over hurt feelings or something?
I remember when he was Paul E Dangerously any is dangerous because he's a genius underneath the tone of the WWE he runs more of it than people realize and he's a genius here a reinventshis self time and time again
I want to start by saying I’m a pro Bonds guy, but when he wasn’t resigned by the Giants or picked up by another team, you left out a significant piece of information that played a part. He was a notoriously awful teammate and an extremely prickly guy when it came to dealing with media. People didn’t dislike Barry, they hated him. Between that and BALCO, in addition to being merely a good player and not the best player in the world any more, the juice was no longer worth the squeeze. Pun totally intended.
Paul Heyman is without a doubt the greatest manager ever and absolutely has one of the most brilliant minds in the wrestling industry. Every time he gets on the mic you know you're in for a ride. He deserves his recognition in the Hall of Fame.
@user-lo6fd8hn8l it's highly debatable
Couldn't agree more, he's one of the greatest storytellers ever 💯

That's why he deserves to be in the Hall of fame cuz he just makes wrestling better and has turned wrestlers into Goats. What a career and he's the reason why wrestling is extreme ❤🐐
Dude was young AF running a territory 🤯
Paul is the one true generational talent. There will never be another Paul Heyman. He is the one true genius of the industry. The greatest of all time mind of professional wrestling. This Hall of fame induction is long over due he already deserve this honor with out a doubt. #ThankYouHeyman
I met him in the 90's. He'll always be 'Mr Dangerously' to me
Yes I gotta say Paul heyman is one of the best managers off all time he’s definitely a legend

Paul Heyman The Goat🐐
Easily the best manager of the modern era, arguably the best of all time. There will no doubt be another GOATed manager in the future, but none past, present, or future will be quite like Paul.
Jim Cornette deliberately snubbed by Markeeda
Heyman puts over superstars using his words, is himself entertaining to watch whilst doing so, and doesn't take the shine from said superstar. That is talent. He is by far the greatest non wrestling talent in the wrestling world
All I can say is, damn! Didn't know much of this info and this is the 2nd video I've watched of ours (Rhodes Family). Exceptional quality!
I had no idea who Paul Heyman was until I saw him manage Brock Lesnar, but from that moment, I was absolutely floored by him. His vocabulary, his voice, his intensity. He was made for this. We're all lucky to have this guy
I started watching wrestling around the time The Rock lost against Brock Lesnar, but I had seen and heard a lot before then. My true knowledge started to build on Chris Jericho winning the undisputed title.
Paul is a Goat. I came up during all of this. He deserves his hall of fame ring. I’m a Paul Heyman Guy.
Love biographies! Great Job! Definitely gonna look for more on your channel.

Ngl Paul Heyman managing a female would be 🔥. He needs to do it before he retires😢
Great video ☝️
Crazy that Jim Cornette and Paul got into the business almost the exact same way.
Paul Heyman is THE Architect. Anything he touches turns into gold. You just gotta trust the process and let him cook 💯
Historically speaking, wrestling managers tended to be the ones who could hide a wrestler's shortcomings on the mic and would hype up a storyline at the same time. Nobody will ever top Paul Heyman, who has reinvented himself so many times in this industry, as the best hype man in the business.
You made me cry, that was beautiful! So well done! Thank you for this!
Fantastic video!!!!

Paul E was a great manager. The Dangerous Alliance was one of the best groups ever.
As someone who made wrestling my world in the early 80's, i think Bobby The Brain Heenan was the best of all-time. I feel Paul Heyman is the contemporary Bobby Heenen. Paul Heyman is the greatest wrestling manager ever. He is more than a manager.
Amazing work
Thanks for this summary of the life and career of The Paulrus. I knew he had a deep history in the business, but not this deep.
Heyman is in the WWE HoF while still quite active in the industry. That says a lot.
I used to listen to Joel Goodheart's wrestling show on WIP 610 in Philadelphia when he first started promoting the Tri-state Wrestling Association.
He literally hustled all his life and don’t forget that he did some stuff for studio 54 before it got shut down.
Paul heyman is one of the best he’s a goat he could take over a company in a second
Simply Put - Banger
I thank him for ECW, because of him, i got to meet quite a few ECW and future WWF/WCW superstars because some of the ECW wrestlers played video games and i would hang out at the Electronic boutique at the roosevelt mall in Philly and the manager there was someone who worked in an indy organization as a manager and knew wrestlers in ECW which is why they shopped there. #ThankYouHeyman #wwehof great video
That was super duper nice of Dusty to do that for Paul. i had heard Dusty was a nice guy, infact i've heard him, Dustin and Cody are pretty cool people
My first experience with Paul E. Dangerously, was with The Original Midnight Express.
Heyman is wrestling
Now people say “roman put the WWE on his back” yes roman did a lot for the WWE but most of romans success is due to Paul and his work behind the scenes. This is what makes you the GOAT in wrestling. The only Heyman guy who failed miserably is Curtis Axel. Heyman tried to polish a turd 😂
transcended generations literally
He owes a lot of people money
I came to say this haha. I wonder if he ever paid tommy dreamer off HAHA
i like how watching this is a real bloody voice, no ai well done.
He is the secret character in a an action movie who has trained great fighters in the past and is about to train the MC..

Without paul heyman professional wrestling wouldn't be where it is today
CREDIT IS DUE 💯
the worst thing this man ever did it was to be the advocate of curt axel😂
I’ve always thought Bobby the brain ,was the best but the last few years I can’t argue that Paul has moved passed him , what a great eye for talent there would be no undertaker without him
1965, my dad birth year.
Thanks for this! Paul is my Hebrew brother. Paul and Cornette the greatest promoters, bookers, managers and the 2 single greatest wrestling creative minds of all time.
"This vid ain't a prediction, it's a spoiler"
Wow! Sullivan & Humperdinck, I would've loved to see them.
wow I've followed wrestling for years and it only just clicked to me that Heyman was Paul E Dangerously...also nice to see a young Undertaker so often lol
“For years” you must mean the last 10-20 years .
This just made me believe how much of a legend dusty rhodes was to have hunted a creative guy like heyman.
Love him or Hate him Hyman you Deserve it Welcome to the Hall of Fame 2024
True legend 🙌
So it safe to say that Paul Heyman is the most important Pilar in the world of wrestling.
The most influencal character on WWE ever 🐐

E-C-DUB E-C-DUB E-C-DUB..........
Funny how nobody mentions Raven, but they mentioned Dreamer, when Dreamer only got his break and got exposure BECAUSE of Raven
1. Bobby Heenan
2. Jim Cornette
3. Paul E
4. Jimmy Hart
This is the Mount Rushmore of Wrestling managers
Fine, I guess its time. I will tell you a secret. I taught Paul everything he knows. That's right Me. Like him or hate him. Paul has always been Paul. 😁😁
I met him when he was in smoky mountain he broke a phone every time
Damien priest needs to be a paul hayman guy
Paul Heyman for Prime Minister of Canada🇨🇦
When I was a kid and I use to watch ecw I always thought Paul was that adult star Ron Jeremy i swear 😂😂😂 I was like I guess he invented in wrestling
this is gonna get some flak
but lets also not forget how many people have gone on record for not getting paid when working for him / with him (more the former than the latter)
hes done a helluva a lot and deserves much praise and recognition for what he has contributed and brought to the (pro-wrestling) "Ring".

The maker of kings
I'm a Heyman Guy!
Ha! Conan reference at the beginning
Invasion arc was great tho
Makes sense Paul’s father is a sailor . They don’t give a fuck when it comes to speaking their mind. I know because I am one and served with others
Wrestling wouldn't be what it is today without Paul Heyman, ue will go down as 1 of the greatest of all time
Conveniently left off Teddy Long, Slick, Sharmell, & Dusty Rhodes valet, whose name I forgotten right now and don't have the time to think.
Yup did great but what happened in ECW? Ya.... Don't pay the talent while he got a job in NY lmao Wiseman indeed
To me, he will ALWAYS be Paul E. Dangerously, the manager who carried around a cellphone the size of a brick.
Mind you, Paul Heyman doesn't even like using the word "manager".
Paul Heyman is as influential as Vince.
👏👏👏
Yknow Paul Heyman used to look a little like Michael Keaton
Damn 21yo Paul looked like my 50yo uncle
Was Paul going to work some angle one time with a former ecw lieutenant where simulated bodily harm would befall Paul and said performer as though happening out of the audience ? Over hurt feelings or something?
The Dangerous Alliance was like the NWO before the NWO.
I remember when he was Paul E Dangerously any is dangerous because he's a genius underneath the tone of the WWE he runs more of it than people realize and he's a genius here a reinventshis self time and time again

"Since you wanna shoot, cowboy...the only reason you were WWE Champion for a year...is because HHH didn't want to work Tuesdays!"
