It’s the moving the belly ring around for the purpose of the video that gives me anxiety. I was told to just use Saline Solution spray it on the piercing 2-3 times a day. Don’t touch it, twist it, turn it basically whatever you did throughout the entire video to cause irritation and swelling. Regardless, thanks for sharing some of your tips.
when I got mine done I got it very last minute after my friend convinced me to get it. During the piercing process there was small amounts of blood but after a few days it was fine I didn’t experience any soreness or infections! I still have the longer bar and it’s been 5 years so this is a sign I should get it changed to the smaller one 😂

From what I know, some people don't recommend the cotton swabs bc they can leave little fibers on the fresh wound!

I have a septum piercing, earlobe and industrial piercing on my left ear. The industrial was a pain for the first couple weeks but its so worth it.

I was told to use unscented antibacterial soap and a saline solution. It’s been so hard to not bump it 😭😭 I stretch a lot too doing yoga and etc and I’m a little worried about the skin around it lol

My mom's me told me to use antibacterial soap to. He said that saline solution was unnecessary. Just to clean it twice a day with the soap was enough

@@maymay5259it’s been 15days when I done my piercing nombril and they tell me to use septidine and mycocide I’m using it now idk if it’s good or nah also my skin is a bit red around the piercing and it hurts a bit if I touch it is it okey????

The reasoning not to use a cotton swab is so the fibers get caught and so you don’t move the bar. Spray saline solution is generally recommended in the US. As is leaving the crusties/dry skin til it’s more healed
if i dont have spray, what should i do instead of using a swab? i just got mine done yesterday
@@wallowcity I was told to lay down on your back, fill your belly button with your saline solution (the one made for piercings or wounds), and let it soak for about 5 minutes. Then, you gently clean the area with a clean cloth to sop up the residual solution, and you're done. :) I literally just got mine done today. Congrats on the new piercing! 💖 I hope it heals really well for you!

Got mine done on New Year’s day today! I almost passed out because I forgot to eat LOL and it hurt because I was standing 😂 after the initial shock I was fine but it definitely is sore now! Soooo nervous for my first sleep, my first cleaning went okay though!

healing is a pain but its worth it what i've known since the 9 months is the healing process hurts at times i have a hoop so it moves either straight or left or right but looks good less and less pink🥳
When I got my industrial I’d make a cup of warm water with salt and soak my ear in it. I had almost no pain after a month. The soaking also just felt really nice.
I just got mine done, and i was told to use anti bacterial dial gold soap with warm water and saline solution for piercings. Dont move it, dont touch it with dirty hands. Wash your body before you go in to get it done atleast the day before. Cleaning it 3 times a day for the first month. 2 times a day for the fallowing months after and not to change it for 6 months and keep something in for an entire year.

Healing is really something complicated. I have a septum piercing that took a year and a half to heal (I naturally have poor healing), just like I have a friend whose piercing healed in about six months.
8:20 off topic but i also use the elvive hyaluronic for my hair and it has done wonders

i pierced my belly once and i didnt know any better so i pierced a tiny amount of skin which resulted in my skin not accepting it. i'm a stomach sleeper as well so it was the worst experience for me. it doesn't fully heal/close itself up after a long time of not wearing jewelry as well, so you will still have a hole in your belly when you're 40/50/60. considering all of these, it is a big commitment. i dont think i could do it again. it looks super cute tho!

@@user-mv3be1py7p I did not hurt at all. I was really nervous but it really doesn’t hurt it’s just a pinch and then a lot of pressure. Just make sure you don’t wear high rise pants and you should wear either a short shirt or a baggy shirt so it isn’t touching the piercing or getting caught on it!

I almost chickened but honestly I think it was my least painful piercing of all of them which are in my ears. And a plus is that it’s a big confidence booster and in summer you can pick out some cool jewelry and it looks so pretty!!! Good luck and let me know how it goes! 😉

When i clean my navel piercing i like to let the saline solution drip to it, my piecer said to avoid touching it or moving it ws much as possible.

I legit got an appointment for earlier today last night at 9:30 pm lol and watched this a few hrs before to prepare. The pain was a 2/10 and felt like the feeling of someone tugging your earlobe imo!
I Got mine done at the start of summer it bled a lot when I first got it done
I did mine myself at 1am last night without cleaning anything bc I forgot didnt do anything for placement or pain and I took it out after a few hours bc I didnt like the placement and thank god bc it looks like it wouldve been very infected if I kept it in Im cleaning it rn be safe with doing ur own piercings CLEAN EVERYTHING
I got mine done 3 months ago and the first 2 months my piercing was healing well like yours now it’s extremely sore and irritated and still oozing puss 😂 not infected tho but still healing it definitely takes a while
After I got mine at 17, I constantly wore skinny jeans which would really aggravate it, it now has a considerable mark/hole when I take it out, which I regret so much

i got mine 5 days ago... the soreness started yesterday :( but, after i took a nice hot shower, it was fine.
stretching my body hurts :'( which sucks
but as for sleeping, i sleep in a satin shirt/dress so that helps
and went im sitting down at my desk, my pants are unbuttoned lol
What material is your piercing
I wouldn’t recommend mixing your own stuff to clean the piercing because it’s easy to make mistakes. I always get Prontolind spray off Amazon and it works really well.😌
just doing what my piercer recommended :) I just make sure everything is super clean, I've had no problems.
@@IsabellaDemarko not all piercers are as good as each other. You’d be much better buying a sterile saline spray made for piercings.
@@Aliciae411 I’ve had a variety of piercings done by multiple piercers. They have almost all given me a packet of sea salt and given me directions on how to mix the solution to clean it. I had another piercer give me a vial of unscented soap to use! All piercers have different recommendations, doesn’t mean the one she went to was bad just because the piercers you have gone to have recommended something different 🙂

My piercer told me to wear a plaster for 4 days and change and clean it every morning, after that clean it 3 times a day. Everybody tells me that I shouldn’t wear a plaster at all. I think my piercer is unlegit

I got mine done today by a friend which ofc isnt as sanitary i know but so far its okay i did end up moving around quite abit today so it does sting but i am making sure to put salanie solution on it and im gonna try to do my best to wear clothes that i don't normally wear like non high waisted pants and tucking in my shirts to try and not irritate it but im really hoping it goes well and turns out well

@@hammies4life112 oh man sorry this is late and mine looks fine the only problem was the balls were plastic so they broke due to an amount of hitting but i was able to use two other balls i had and it's still healing fine just make sure to clean yours regularly

@@jessi3434 Yeah good actually, first month was quite painful and couldnt lay on my belly for about 3 months, but after that it was fine. Just had to look after it and make sure it didnt get caught in any clothes. Cleaned it every day with sterile wipes and that worked very well for me. It’s quite a hassle but it looks good

I got mine pierced in 2020 and I accidently knocked it with my hand twice. I think that’s the reason why it got so crusty for the following weeks after. So much that I thought it was infected so I texted my piercer and she said to change the piercing to clean it better. But when I tried to do that, I couldn’t get the jewelry back in so I lost my piercing:( Im thinking about getting it repierced this year. I absolutely am and was obsessed with that piercing so I cant wait to have it again. Looking back, if I never took it out, I feel like I could have had it even rn

I pierced my belly yesterday and it was bleeding, I was told not to use saline or water just dab with something dry until the bleeding stops, any advice on how to stop the bleeding?
Use saline idk who told u that but using h20cean spray works wonders for any kind of piercing an running it under water helps stop the bleeding I did it for my Ashley piercing
Should take that suggestion with a grain of salt because not everybody has an easy time healing your belly, button, piercings, or any piercings with salt water me being one of them in fact, salt water on my skin is more harsh than cleaning my skin with alcohol and peroxide, so I clean mine differently due to the way my body is
Why did you move it so much when it was just the first 2-4 days? How is that logical to you 😂 if you move a stick around in your wound, do you think that’s good for healing?

Oof because ur navel folds when u sit, that’s going to cause a lot of issues with a regular belly piercing jewelry. ask ur piercer if u should get a floating navel piercing instead

yes :) no additives and non processed.
@@IsabellaDemarko ain't no such thing as organic salt, as salt doesn't grow on soil and isn't sprayed with pesticides. all salt comes from the sea (at the exception of himalayan salt). sea salt is just salt (NaCl : sodium chloride) with trace minerals. table salt is refined so it's just pure NaCl.
as for products the term "organic" actually refers to, they're not free of pesticides, they just use a different set of pesticides that is approved by the "organic" certification.
Salt can be naturally occurring and lab made! So yes, organic salt LOL
