I feel owner should take some efforts on basic service scheduled maintenance points which are due by kilometer or timeline. So careless mechanic’s take advantage of word of mouth trust. I feel these situations are always present and therefore the owner is to be blamed as such mechanics are ever ready to ruin you hard earned vehicles.

You are correct. Every owner should himself be keen to know basics of his vehicles. Many times local mechanis are "absolute fools". I had a mechanic who told me that a crack/aperture in the air intake hose would not cause damage.

बाहर वाले मेकेनिक मक्कारी करते हैं। सर्विस के नाम पर इंजन ऑयल चेंज एयर फिल्टर चेंज। ब्रेक केम में ऑयल डाला कुप्पी से ज्यादा समझा तो ब्रेक शू बदल दिए काम खतम।
