Last week we went to Lisbon, our first time in Portugal, and had THE BEST food adventure we've ever had. The quality, the diversity, the affordability was incredible. So we were on a mission to taste every highly-rated food and restaurant in Lisbon in 5 days! We had some of the best seafood, steak, steak sandwiches, meat and cheese boards, tuna steaks and more. On top of that, we also tried nearly all of the best places to get a Pasteis de Nata. So we took it into our own hands to rate every place as well. I mean- why not right?!
On top of food, we also visited some of Lisbon's best bars, rooftops, monasteries, viewpoints and markets. Keep watching to visit them too!

You should try the pasteis de nata with a bit of cinnamon, it's even better. The pasteis de bacalhau are made with cod, mashed potatoes and some parsley. Those 2 other cakes you tried and didn't recall the name were the Bola de Berlim (Berlin's ball) [the round one with the creamy filling] and the palmier. Regarding coffee, people mostly drink "bica" (expresso), a very small but strong coffee.
Oh man that Belem place.. I recall spending 20€ on tarts in one sitting. Enjoy yolo

Your recommendation of Time Out Portugal was so great. That tuna taco is by far the best tuna taco in the world! Loved the tip on the rooftop bar, Lumi! So much fun. However, FYI all, the website makes it seems like you need a reservation and we almost didn’t go because we couldn’t get one. However on a whim we went and had no trouble getting a table; their website must be outdated. Thank you for sharing ur post, overall it was very helpful!

I loved your video! Its opening song is very reminiscent of Rio de Janeiro, which is in Brazil and often confuses the cultures.

You didn't use the cinnamon and icing sugar for the pasteis de belem (not pasteis de nata). I'm sure that 4.5 would've been a 5 if you had. Great video though!

OMG! You were at LxFactory and you didn`t get a slice each from Landeau (the best chocolate cake in the world). Guys, what a missed opportunity. There is no other chocolate cake like that, hence the recognition. You were at some good places but there are so much more top places to dine in Lisbon. Next time, I guess?? Anyway, glad you had a great time.
OH MY GOSH. I've never heard of this chocolate cake and I LOVE chocolate cake. This makes me so sad.

great video! I am planning to visit Portugal over the summer. I am visiting from the US. What was the process to enter Portugal besides the negative covid test? Did you have to take your US covid vaccine card or had to get an EU version of it? thanks in advance!
You should probably check the most up to date info on that before a few weeks before you fly! Restrictions change all the time !

i am flying to Lisbon from Toronto Canada. Do you know if I need to have a PCR test if I am fully vaccinated in Canada with the Pfizer vaccine?

Yes you need to test before flying and have your vaccination card I am moving there next month
you need just the antigen rapid test 24 hours before i live in toronto to and im portuguese ,a freind of mine went to portugal last week and they dint ask for any test .but if you want to be safe do the antigen rapid test 24 hours before
You literally didn't try any of the Portuguese traditional dishes, just our snacks and pastel de nata so many times..... Next time, I hope you can try our actual dishes! We have many rice dishes to go around! Beans stews, spiced meat stews, unique dishes you will never find in other European countries!

It's not a dessert. Is a complement to the seafood, because it's a cold meal and the Prego at the end is for a bit of warm comfort. U will understand when experience
