As a cat owner of two this absolutely just rips at my heart. It is amazing he was able to find his way home and in the shape he was in. Three legged cats and dogs seen to adjust nicely. (have seen stories on vet shows). People can just be so mean. Praying that Asher heals and I will be thinking of your family. ♥♥
As I’m a cat’s lover (dogs as well) your story brought tears to my eyes. I’m praying he will be able to manage and be happy, for sure with the boys loving and your tender care, he will do well. How sad some people are so ruthless. 🙏🥰
Oh my gosh this breaks my heart and makes me so angry that this evil person is doing this and getting away with it. I hope karma gets him and he suffers severely for the pain he’s caused these poor helpless animals…especially sweet Asher. I pray Asher recovers quickly and doesn’t have any lasting pain from his injuries. Love on him often…for all of us who also love him💕💕💕

I give you all credit for helping him and changing things to keep him safe. There are a lot of horrible people in this world. God bless....
Sheila! Thank YOU so much. Your gifts were so very sweet & meant a lot to me. And after having such a tough week…it brought a huge smile to my face & lots of happy tears.❤️❤️❤️
I watched this earlier today and haven’t been able to stop thinking about this… you know that Asher made his way home, however difficult that may have been, to reach his family, who he knew would be able to take care of him… ❤️ I have hugged my cats today more than ever before… I can’t believe that someone would want to harm this beautiful being… 🥺🥺🥺
I know Nancy! It’s just gut wrenching to think of how far he traveled like that. My goodness the pain he must’ve been in!! I’m so grateful God brought him home to us!🫶🏻
That person sounds very scary and shouldn’t be in society. I’m so sorry to hear this, it’s absolutely heartbreaking. I know that you and Joe are capable of protecting yourselves and your entire family(animals included) and that gives me much comfort.🙏❤️
It is sad - the ones who torture animals, start with animals, and move on to humans. It is so Sickening ! For those people, we need insane asylums brought back.
We have cruel people in this world. I’m so sorry you’re going through this with your poor little cat. Sending many prayers from the Mossop family in Texas.😢
Snuggle that sweet kitty for me!! He is in my heart, he is doing great. Your boys are so responsible! All your animals are so healthy and happy, love to watch them! Love to you all💜
It's UNBELIEVABLE that you move to a remote area of Alaska and a situation that usually occurs in crowded areas come knocking right at your door. Nowadays we have to be extra careful, cause the psycho may live next door. Poor Asher , thank God he's a warrior soul. Soon he'll be OK and discover a new way of living with 3 legs. Important is all the love and caring he's receiving from you. ❤ 😢
I’m a cat dad and seeing this is very upsetting I can’t believe someone would do this to an innocent animal. But I think Asher will be well cared for and live a good happy life
Poor darling Asher, seeing him made me cry. Praying he heals well. He is loved so very much and our pets feel that love we give them. Wow Joe work on the new bedroom is coming on so nice ☺ Yummy food indeed! Lovely video as always 🥰 Blessings to you all.
I am so glad that Asher was able to get home to you and you took care of him instead of choosing euthanasia. He has so many more years of love to give you and your family. And I am so glad that you got him a catio. He is God's little creature and he is lucky to have your family as part of his family.
This is one of the very reasons why I love animals more than a lot of people. I'm so sorry that happened to him. Much love to you and all the family members, 2 and 4 legs❤ It is so sweet watching the pups love on Asher. XOXOXs Asher.
You are all very wonderful people, and are such a great family. Tina you are such a beautiful person inside and out. Joe you are an awesome guy and thankyou both for your military service for us all. Merry Christmas to you all. Hang in there asher .
Joe of all Trades- I love watching all the building action.. Well done Joe!..Lovely life… So sorry about Kitty.. He is tough.. 3 legs won’t bother him.. I think it will take a bit.. before he realises it’s gone….and drugs wear off.. Great Dogs! Love from South Africa.
Poor little Asher. That breaks my heart. Thank God she is alive and on the mend. I love animals. I have a pomeranian and dachshund plus 2 little birds. They are a joy to have around and make me happy.
I'm so sorry. I'm literally in tears listening to you speak of this. I'm sure he will heal and rehab well. I hope you are all able to heal from the pain. Some people are just cruel. I'm very happy he made it home, and survived. He is strong. ❤
Poor Asher! I cried as you told his story. Animals are so resilient and adapt so well. I'm glad to hear he's going to be OK. We adopted a blind Australian cattle dog who was rescued from a high-kill pound in Virginia. He was a working dog, and it was believed that his vision loss was sudden, as his behaviour on the rescue bus was telling. He ended up in a rescue home in Ontario, Canada which was where I found him. He was beautiful but nobody wanted the burden of a blind dog. He came to live with us in New Brunswick and lived his best life to the ripe age of 14. He fetched sticks in the river, chased knobby balls, hiked on the wooded trails with us with the greatest of confidence. He was the best and funniest boy, and I considered it an honour to be his caretaker.
My heart breaks for Asher. I cannot understand how someone could do that. He is lucky to have you guys for his family. Thank you for the blueberry ice cream recipe. I'm so making that. God Bless you all.❤
As a cat owner of three strictly indoor boys, I shed a tear to hear what happened to Asher. Glad he has a wonderful family to love and care for him. So glad you will be keeping the cats indoors now where they will be safe. Someone that would do that to an innocent animal is beyond cruel. Give Asher some extra love from all of us out here who care. 🙏

Hello friend, wow. Thank you for such a kind & uplifting comment. We haven’t adopted sweet Kellen yet. We have a 1 year guardianship of him that ends this coming Feb 2024, at which time his family will decide if he’ll be staying with us permanently through adoption or not. He has been a huge blessing to our family, we love him to pieces. Thank you for watching our video & checking us out! Happy Holidays!☺️
Now I know what truly captivates me, and it's the spiritual and emotional realm that your videos transport me to every time I watch them. It's akin to experiencing The Waltons or Little House on the Prairie. Thank you for your videos, which, despite always seeming short and scarce, are profoundly impactful. Greetings to you from the beautiful Madrid, Odalis. May God bless you abundantly.
This is such a compliment. Thank YOU! One video a week is all we can commit to but we enjoy every bit of it. Thanks for watching & being a part of our journey!🫶🏻
I've watched this video many times. So glad that in the present day Asher is doing well. I miss sweet Kellan I had tears in my eyes watching how loved he was and how much he grew.
I’m so sad for Asher! I can’t understand what kind of monster would do what you described to defenseless cats. I’m sure once he is fully healed, he’ll adapt and live a great safe life with you all! ❤
This breaks my heart! I’m literally in tears. Asher is a good kitty and knew you would take care of him. Praying he will recover quickly and be a blessing to you all. Also praying for the boys, this is a hard lesson for them on the cruelty of some people. Praying for all of you ❤️
I can sit here and just keep on savouring all these beauty. Your cabin looks sooooo cozy and yet sooooo BEAUTIFUL, impecable decoration. You're a fairy, transforming all around you. It feels my heart and soul and spirit with the pure essence of real life
Oh Tina my heart break's for Asher and all the pain he went through. There are cruel evil people out there! And I pray the monster who did this is held accountable some way in his miserable life! Sending prayers for you all. God bless.
I had a tripod dog before. He lost his leg to cancer. It's amazing how fast they adapt. Don't worry, he'll adapt and get along just fine. He's young. I hate to say it, but when you live that far out in the boonies, chances are it's your next door neighbor who did it.
I’m so glad that Asher got home ”safely”. I can’t imagine how the poor fella feels. I cried for him just now as I did not watch the live. 😢Be safe you guys.
I cried seeing your video of someone hurting your cat. I pray that Karma comes back on the person who did that to him. Big hugs to you and your family and pray for quick healing.
Asher has more than proven that he is a "Watson." Asher is not a quitter, strong, determined, resilient, and definitely a "gangsta!" He will be ok! I love how Bradley and Gunner were checking him out, they definitely love their little brother and are concerned for him. Watching you and Joe in the kitchen cooking at the end of the video reminds me so much of how much fun it was when my husband would pop into the kitchen to "help" me cook. Those were the best of times! I hope you are reading this because that lamb looked so good. I have never ever cooked or tasted lamb and was wondering what you used to season it, how long do you cook it, does it have to be cooked to a certain temperature or well done, and how do I know if the lamb at the store is good? Do you have any way to tell if the meat is good or turning to be bad? Sorry to be a pain, but now that I am not working anymore, watching all your videos, and even copying your recipes, I am anxious to try new foods and yours always looks so DELICIOUS!
Hello friend! We’ve only eaten home grown lamb so I can’t speak for store bought lamb BUT I’ve heard it’s delicious if sourced well. Lamb doesn’t have to be cooked long, needs to be at a minimum 145 degrees F for medium well. ❤️❤️
@@HomeFreeAlaska Thank you for responding to my question. I plan on trying some when I get my SS check. I hope it is ok when cooked without mint. I have looked for recipes & most say to use mint. Wish me luck! DANG! I wish I had your talent at making homes look so beautiful, cozy, comforting, and just like a BIG HUG!
I have no words, that are going to be allowed here, for the people that did this. I’m so sorry for poor Asher and the pain he must be feeling. I am so glad he has you as his family. And he is clearly happy he has you too. Sending you all much love.
Was so glad to help you in the live video. Susan says hello and we keep your family and animals in our daily prayers. You got the card! Ours was the house with the Christmas tree and snow ❤ Sorry to hear about Asher but we are so glad hes doing ok now. Condolences on losses in yours and Joes family.
Just wanted to say I subscribe to several YT channels like everyone else but by far... this channel feels like home! Family, love, and everything before, after and in between that... lol. Thank you for being kind, loving and true. We love yall! Happy holidays
What an awesome video. I am so happy to see little Asher doing so well. I loved how the dogs were so gentle with him and how Parker ever so gently petted him. When Joe was cooking the lamb chops my mouth was watering and I don't even like lamb. I think it's because it was never cooked correctly. Love brussels sprouts too! I was ready to hop through the screen and join you for dinner. And the ice cream!! What a thoughtful gift from your subscriber and such a loving tribute to your grandpa. We are all your extended family Tina, and we love you all so much. The out takes at the end had me crying with laughter when Joe was "twerking"!!
So sorry about Asher , such a sweet kitty. Your blueberry ice cream looks delicious. Lol seeing you scrape the bowl with a spatula made me laugh, when I was in culinary school I had a little short French chef instructor that would stand behind me and yell at me through a bull horn if I didn’t scrape the bowl clean saying “ you left your profit in the bowl”. I still have nightmares about that. Hahaha.
My heart broke when you share Asher's story. I'm a cat lover and on my farm(back in the day) I had 32 cats and there were no mice in the hay or feed storage area. My vet folder was very thick...lol Thanks for sharing....❤✌🙏
@@pinkywilliams8063 ok awesome! I thought it was you-but wasn’t 100% just because sometimes it’s hard to keep track of UA-cam account names. @@HomeFreeAlaska Thanks Tina... I didn't know you were doing a exchange of cards until your last video, I had been collecting addresses from all the channels that I watch for a few months. Being a disable USAF veteran, I'm very patriotic, freedom loving, God fearing woman, oh yeah vacc free I might add. Don't believe in them. Love your videos gf. Hey Joe!!!! You be rocking that beard. Merry Christmas to All!!!
Such a sad but still beautiful vlog.. I wish Asher a speedy recovery and I just know he will be ok 🫶🏾 I enjoy watching the boys having fun in the snow and with their chores and school work.. the addition is coming along nice, Joe is a hard worker. Thanks Tina for another sweet vlog and that ice cream looked delicious 😍
Maybe make sure all neighbors in the community are aware and have the chance to protect thier cats. Killing and torturing cats or dogs is a crime period. I’d at least file a report with photo evidence at the nearest police station next time you’re in town. That way it is on record that it has happened in the community. The more reports, the more reason for them to investigate unfortunately. At the very least it will be documented and reported, and neighbors have an opportunity to protect their kitties. Sending all the healing love for Asher. ❤
@@1252905Dotty why in the world would I talk to a person that I “think” did it but I cant prove they did it? Thats a confrontation with an obvious psycho waiting to happen. He’s certainly not going to admit it. So what’s the purpose of that conversation? It’s not going to change anything & surely won’t put Asher’s leg back on. Ya feel me? Nothing good would come out of that conversation & it could potentially lead to an aggressive confrontation that could turn ugly & lead to someone getting hurt, not worth it. The incident has been reported to local authorities and animal control. There’s nothing more we can do.
So glad Asher is well. One of the best things about cats is their figurative ‘9 lives”. They have a strong will to live and they know their home. We had a similar incident. We don’t know what happened but our sweet little cat came home one day, looked a little ragged, and climb up our stairs and laid right in front of us. When she did, her stomach and chest were split wide open. It was about a 11” cut that was a solid inch deep. We were devastated and wasn’t sure what to do, thinking she was not going to make it. But we both said, this cat came all the way home and wanted to be with us. For a cat to have such a strong sense of family and fight for life, we knew we had to do whatever it took to save her. She had emergency surgery and they patched her back up. They had no idea what happened but said whatever it was, it was extremely sharp. She was fine and lived a happy life. Cats want to survive and we could learn a thing a two from them on that. Family and life. 2 things that are precious and irreplaceable.
I am so sorry about what happened to Asher. He was so strong and wanted to get home. He has an amazing will to live. Bless his heart.Hugging Asher and the family with my prayers.
im more of a dog lover myself but i definately care about cats as well. im glad asher is doing a lot better and that he seems to be comfortable. thank you for caring about and loving asher and for being a wonderful cat -and dog mom- and for being a great mom to your two amazing boys who are growing up so fast. the world needs more folks like you and joe. girl youve got the life

I’m so very sorry about Asher; almost had me in tears. You guys have done so well by him!! ❤️
Who knew two boys from Georgia would love snow so much❄️❄️. Healing prayers for Asher and acceptance of being house bound for both cats.
Thank you for keeping your cats indoors and safe. 😻
I’m from the Texas Hill Country, and work with children and young adults. My wife and I live on an 18 acres ranch/homestead. We have 100 chickens and 50 ducks, plus two cats and 4 German Shepherds.
I was just browsing through the internet, and y’all popped up, and I saw yall, then the young boys, and I noticed something very unique and special,…yall adopted one of the young men, and that really drew me in.
I watched the videos, read comments, watched your husband, and watched you interact with BOTH boys, and especially the adopted young man.
Let me tell you, once I saw the morning clip of the boys doing what I call here on our ranch, “chicken chores and dog/duck duties”lol, I KNEW that God Almighty’s love, grace, mercy, provisions, and protection was upon y’all🙌💯👨👩👦👦🥰🙌
Watching the beginning of this video with them doing chores, Bible study, making breakfast sandwiches for them, doing math and finances, and genuine love and encouragement made me have a couple of tears run down my face. God willing, I’ll be 54yrs old in December, so that’s says a lot!!!lol
Your husband and you are raising two princes, that will be kings one day…🫅🏼🫅🏾🔜🤴🏼🤴🏾
If the world had more mothers like you, ma’am, the world would be a much better place to live🙏👸🏼💯
Glad to hear Asher is doing better. Vets can be expensive.
Especially emergency vets on Thanksgiving! Thank God there are kind people who had the ability to help! 🙏
Heartbreaking. But thank goodness Asher made his way home. It’s wonderful he has such a loving home.
🥰@@HomeFreeAlaska
I've watched this video many times. So glad that in the present day Asher is doing well. I miss sweet Kellan I had tears in my eyes watching how loved he was and how much he grew.
Glad Asher will be OK. ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m so sad for Asher! I can’t understand what kind of monster would do what you described to defenseless cats. I’m sure once he is fully healed, he’ll adapt and live a great safe life with you all! ❤
I am really happy that Asher is doing better you are right some people are just idiots and the have nothing better to do
This breaks my heart! I’m literally in tears. Asher is a good kitty and knew you would take care of him. Praying he will recover quickly and be a blessing to you all. Also praying for the boys, this is a hard lesson for them on the cruelty of some people. Praying for all of you ❤️
It's so sad hearing what happened to Asher! I'm so glad he made it home to his loving family!!!
I can sit here and just keep on savouring all these beauty. Your cabin looks sooooo cozy and yet sooooo BEAUTIFUL, impecable decoration. You're a fairy, transforming all around you. It feels my heart and soul and spirit with the pure essence of real life
Thank you so much! You are so kind!
I’m so sorry someone was so cruel to hurt a family pet! 😢 Glad Asher is healing well! Much love & hugs to all! ❤❤❤❤
Yep most likely. Like I said on the LIVE, can’t escape the crazies no matter where ya go!🤷🏼♀️
We have a 3 legged kitty too! She does just fine! So glad to hear they'll be safe indoors from now on. Sending healing vibes to Asher
So glad Asher is doing good
I’m so glad that Asher got home ”safely”. I can’t imagine how the poor fella feels. I cried for him just now as I did not watch the live. 😢Be safe you guys.
Joe, you're doing a great job on to the addition to the house . Love watching your channel. Have a blessed week . Hope the cat recovery is good .
Shiela was so thoughtful and kind to send the dragonflies ❤️❤️ what a beautiful gift! BTW, your bloopers crack me up 🤣😂
So glad Asher made it home. Also, we love Joe! He may be more reserved but you all are the perfect ying/yang.
I’m sure Tina will read this and share! I was wondering the same thing about the lamb!!
@@ionecuff6323 I’ve never used mint with my lamb & it’s DELICIOUS every time!🫶🏻
@@HomeFreeAlaska WHEW!! THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you!❤️
Poor little Asher. I dont understand how people can be so cruel. Praying for quick healing for him.
Just wanted to say I subscribe to several YT channels like everyone else but by far... this channel feels like home! Family, love, and everything before, after and in between that... lol. Thank you for being kind, loving and true. We love yall! Happy holidays
Thank YOU!!!🫶🏻
I was able to watch your video, with sadness and tears. I'm so... you still have Asher
I am so sorry and you are right people can be cruel God Bless
Hahaha.
Oh that’s funny!!😂
So sad about Asher. Shame on the cruel person who did this. I’m glad to see he’s doing better today.
My heart broke when you share Asher's story. I'm a cat lover and on my farm(back in the day) I had 32 cats and there were no mice in the hay or feed storage area. My vet folder was very thick...lol Thanks for sharing....❤✌🙏
“Pinky” I think we got your Christmas card this week!❤️❤️❤️
Hooray!!!!! Merry Christmas my friend all the way from Alabama!@@HomeFreeAlaska
@@pinkywilliams8063 ok awesome! I thought it was you-but wasn’t 100% just because sometimes it’s hard to keep track of UA-cam account names. But I recognize yours and your American flag profile picture!!❤️❤️ Thank you so much for the card! I just had to place another order for more of our cards…but it’ll be coming!🫶🏻

Awww, the scene with the pup loving on Asher was so sweet. Loved the video journey. Thank you for sharing❤❤
HUGS AND KISSES TO L I TTLE ASHER . GET BETTER SOON. LOVE YOU LITTLE ONE.❤❤❤
Very good idea.
@HomeFreeAlaska please report as suggested. They say it's a short step from cruelty to animals to small children.
@HomeFreeAlaska This is some wise advice. Please do report it
Absolutely I would report it. Have you even talked to the person?
Wow. Thats absolutely amazing!
Glad Asher is ok ❤❤❤ love your videos!!!
Thanks so much Kim!
I am so sorry about what happened to Asher. He was so strong and wanted to get home. He has an amazing will to live. Bless his heart.Hugging Asher and the family with my prayers.
The boys do such a good job with the chickens and sheep
Thank you! They’re such big helpers!
