Following on from Part 1. of fishing in the beautiful island of St. Lucia, this is Part 2. where I had an amazing time fishing right behind the hotel where I was staying!
From the first time I saw the area, it looked fishy...Even more so, it looked like prime snook territory. Although I was not sure I could fish there...I had to give it a try!
With very little expectation of targeting a species like snook during my short visit, I did not walk with much gear suited to that type of fishing. Luckily I had a few soft plastics in my bag...And it certainly did the trick!
It took me a lil while before I got the first bite...But once I caught that first fish, it gave me all of the confidence I needed to keep fishing, and it paid off!
