You can use only two artboards to achieve the same result by setting the Easing value to Ease-In-Out and Duration to 5 seconds. Thank you for the tutorial :)
Does an auto animate such as this help the developers? Or do they anyway need to recreate it in code? Interested if it just something that helps me show the client what id like to happen or if it actually speeds up the development process. Thanks :)
i think for 1 hr the file size would be rediculous and this isn't really meant for that. even countdowns in general aren't the thing of XD. as much as we'd like that
@@ForeverDansky I would say, not that versatile yet! There are tricks but not feature, a lot gap in creation of micro-interaction animation. To work on many Artboards to accomplish the desired animation that's a not a solution I would say.
u can do it bro. make sure ur shape in the top of ur text, then select both and right click. u will see the masking option there. or u can use shortcut shift+ctrl+ m hope this helpful
Man, this Auto-Animate is great and all but it is such an unnatural way to create animations! Duplicate all those artboards, it's crazy! XD needs a proper animation timeline. Doesn't have to be After Effects style or complicated.
A timeline would be interesting to see! Another way to maintain everything more easily, would be to make the 'fixed' elements a component. You'd still have the 6 artboards, but could update the overall timer design across all artboards just by editing the master component 👍
thank you!
Your explanation was great
your videos are quick , easy and so helpful thank you
easy peasy, nice work
oh nice, mask with shape helped me so much
FABULOUS!!
Awesome, easy and quick
Thanks Tanveer :)

Nice, thanks :D
You're welcome!
how you got that overlap in your layer panel
you are the best!!!!
Thanks so much Tomás! :)
one tip reseting button couldbe oposite direction :)
how do you combine this animation with other animations if you have other elements on the artboards you want to animate in another pace?
you cant
Hello Dansky , I want to ask you , can I use components states for that ?
what if we have to do like 1 hr count down? should we have to create all or we have plugin/algorithm?
i think for 1 hr the file size would be rediculous and this isn't really meant for that.

That's cool... How can I trigger it automatically upon page loading instead of clicking on something? I really need it.
Go to prototype section and select timer as your trigger
Can't do scrolling numbers at all. Have not button "Time" in "Trigger" operation. Do you use free version or it's paid one? Work on Windows
Making 10 artboards to do a simple counter!
6 artboards yea 😉
Can you animate like a simple digital clock works? not a sliding-up animation.
Probably yea, Adobe XD is pretty versatile!

imagin making 3 minutes.. 😂😂😂😂.. a good tutorial by the way
Do you think XD is the best program to prototype?
It's my favourite personally, but definitely worth trying other design apps too, and seeing which is the best fit for you and your workflow 🙂
Why the masking when you repeat the artboards? Why not just replace the numbers without the mask?
what if i wanna do like the entire hour?
it is just a prototype!!
a reset button which pops up would be nice actually
There should be a reset button in last artboard
can't do masking on windows, that's shame
