Thank you so much for the video! I am currently working in Ulaanbaatar. I have just been here for 4 months. The local people are absolutely wonderful and so is the food. I am learning about the history of the Mongolians, their culture, language, customs and traditions etc. Ulaanbaatar is a lovely city to live , you can get western imported products and almost everything you need. I look forward to seeing more of the sites and experiencing more of the culture.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this series and am loving the way you’re exploring the country, after doing a motorbike tour over Mongolia a few years ago (where we donated the motorbikes to the rangers at the end) I fell in love with Mongolia and have always wanted to go back .. this is definitely the next best thing !!! 😍😍😍🥴
This just has to be my most favorite series of sonny's, this place, these people such great energy, their resilience is outstanding. I'm so glad to have learned about them.

Production quality is through the roof on this video. That drone and the slow motion closeups really add value.
All interesting stuff... but for me, the best part was the warmth of those Mongolian guys' smiles! They felt so welcoming and now I want to visit!

Khuushuur is eaten throughout the year, but there is special type eaten mostly during Naadam, the circler moon shaped Khuushuur. It’s good production video about Mongolia. You have to show more videos like that. I’m from the Republic of Buryatia (Russian federation), it’s the northern, near lake Baikal. First video I saw from this channel and an instant sub. These two dudes were so fun to watch; they were polite, interested in everything going on, charismatic, and kept it real while still being humorous. Not only did they eat, but they asked about the culture, the technique, so on and so forth. The video was also enjoyably edited, I’ve seen channels like this that over-edit with sound effects and stuff every 5 seconds. Sound quality was great.
Looking forward to seeing more.

It’s crazy seeing how other country’s keep to there culture. There is something deep and meaningful harvesting an animal. Raising or hunting them then all that hard work comes the time to harvest and feed the family.
One of the downside of multiculturalism is the pidgnization of cultures. If you notice, most of the culturally rich countries are essentially ethnostates like Japan and Mongolia

As a Mongolian born and raised in the capital city Ulaanbaatar, I’d say this is a good presentation of an authentic Mongolian food! Whenever I search up “Mongolian food” online, the dishes that show up are non-existent in Mongolian restaurants in Mongolia. If you go to any traditional Mongolian restaurant like “Khaan Buuz” or “Modern Nomads” they have around 10-12 foods including buuz, khuushuur, tsuivan (the noodles they ate), piroshki, dumplings soup, noodle soup (with lamb meat, potato, carrots, noodles - no soy sauce, just salt and pepper), goulash with big chunk of meat etc., never “Mongolian beef” that are covered with flour and fried. As a 20 something year old Mongolian, never had that dish in my life neither my family and friends. Our dishes are very simple (no spice, no sauces at all), only very juicy and tasty meat and salt. Salads like potato salad are very common and it became a part of our traditional celebrations’ food.

As a Mongolian I can confirm that vegan people would be exiled in Mongolia because a meal without meat isn't considered a meal in Mongolia. Mongolian meat is the best meat in the world so why would any Mongolian want to be vegan? It's an alien concept here. Meat is what makes a Mongolian dish.
Khuushuur is not scarce. Every person who owns a home can make it, and there are khuushuur shops (those are everywhere) small restaurants, that make it all year round.
