The whole cucumber is good for you. The outer skin is pure fibre.
Scrub it with baking soda and/or vinegar to thoroughly clean it if you must.
And if you insist on peeling it, use a peeler instead of a knife that way you'll have less waste.

I don't know if you have it over there, but here we have yonana machines. They sell it online, but basically you run frozen bananas down the chute and it makes like a soft serve ice cream, it doesn't require any milk or sugar. The smoothies put me in mind of it because it's something I like to eat in the summer. That smoothie you sounded wonderful.

In Mexico we do something similar but it's not a smoothie. We blend watermelon (or any fruit) add water, sugar and ice and it's a nice refresher for the hot days.

I like English or Persian cucumbers since the seeds are much smaller...I do not peel them...
I don’t peel mine back then, but for a while now, Nigerian cucumber 🥒 has been really bitter especially when eating with the back
@@VeeVlogs1614 I know what you mean...many of the cucumbers grown here in the US have large seeds and a tough, bitter skin...in my opinion anyway, LOL...
