- PREPARATION: Careful preparation is important for maximizing the life and durability of your EZ Flares. Clean application area using isopropyl alcohol (test a small unobtrusive area for color-fastness). Application area must be completely dry before installing your EZ Flares
FOR MAXIMUM LIFE: For long lasting strength and durability, apply when temperature is at least 72º F (21º C). In colder climates, apply heat to the tape using a hair dryer or heat gun to help strengthen the bond.
STEP 1 (PEEL): Peel protective film from tape starting at one end of the EZ Flares and attach to the surface of the vehicle.
STEP 2 (PRESS): Continue installing to the rest of your vehicle while making sure to firmly press and hold the EZ Flares for several seconds against the surface of your vehicle. Make sure to eliminate air bubbles and gaps.
STEP 3 (CUT): Cut excess off with sharp scissors.
CLEANING: Clean the EZ Flares the same way you would clean your car. Using soap and water will help eliminate dust and grime build-up. Do not wash vehicle for 24 hours after installing to give the tape time to cure.
SHINING: You can easily give your EZ Flares a nice glossy shine or help eliminate scuffs by applying tire-shine or Armor All to the surface. - Авто та транспорт
So you're telling me that the first two steps are "Start installing flares", and then "Continue installing flares until done"?

How to reinstall EZ Flares in case if it was removed for some reason?
Honest question: what's the difference between this product and really thick weatherstripping, like for garage doors?
The EZ Flares are specifically designed to be used as flares. We use top quality 3M automotive adhesive that is fused to the rubber material. The EZ Flares come ready to be installed on virtually any vehicle!
Did everything just like you did in your video and it look good when I first put them on. Now after just a couple of days they're all peeling off. So now what do I do? Send them back or do you have another method for resticking these easy flares on?

Your website says that the EZ Flares XL is made of "Dura-X Foam rubber compound", but your regular EZ Flares offers no description o the material i's made of. I am seriously interested in the lesser width original EZ Flare to help solve my problem,but what is it made of?
The regular EZ Flares are made from EPDM foam/sponge rubber. The EZ Flares XL have a similar texture and material but they use our strongest and densest compound. In other words, the EZ Flares XL will endure more damage and generally last longer.
But does the EZ Flare XL come in lesser width than 2"?

I just ordered today the original EZ Flare because I only need an additional 1" coverage for what im working on. THe XL would be way too much and look obnoxious for me. Ty for the sample offers. Ill wait for my order (few days to arrive) and i'll consider the material toughness at that time for my application. If I need tougher I'll return and get the XL and go from there. Ty for quick replys and Im looking forward to trying the product to solve my needs.

This looks like garage door weatherstripping with double sided tape lol
The EZ Flares are very similar in design to garage weatherstripping. However, the EZ Flares use black 3M automotive adhesive specifically designed to be used on vehicles. The EZ Flares come ready to install right out of the box!
So basically they are saying it is garage weather strip just with different tape. Look up fat lip kit its the same thing
Will these attach onto metal? like in older model cars? like a landcruiser 40 series metal fender?
Yes, the EZ Flares can easily attach to a metal surface as long as the surface is cleaned well and you follow the installation instructions carefully. As long as your Landcruiser 40 has enough space for the 3M adhesive, they will work great on there!
What process is used for the removal of the EZ Flares? Thank you!
The EZ Flares can be removed by pulling them off by hand. You can also use an eraser wheel which is the same tool used to remove decals and other adhesives from your vehicle.

Exactly! Our fender flares are a great option if you’re looking for extra tire coverage to stay legal and pass local inspections or meet regulations.
I doubt that ribbon, can withstand automated washing, or neighborhood kids ...
