This is perfect for anyone who wants to remove rust from around the wheel and doesn't have the skills to match the paint very well. LoL!! That's what I am using it for. I am removing all of the rust, building bondo, sand, finishing (glossy) putty, sand then clear coat. Then this trim.
At first i thought he was installing a double sided tape to adhere the fender flare i didn't know that that was the fender flare. Hahahaha!

One main purpose of having fender flares installation is to help prevents from getting fender rubbing from wider wheels and tires. It supposed to work like a wide body. No offense, but what you have is just some stupid thin layer on top of your fenders. It doesn’t do nothing at all.
It's a wheel arch trim not a fender flare.
@Kelvin Shiu - it protects the real arches from rusting, due to crap on the roads.
No, it's not an actual "fender flare" that extends the width of the fender. It's a protective strip that protects the fender arch from dings, stones...etc. and may help to prevent the arch from common rusting along the edges. Many new vehicles are manufactured with this design of rubber/plastic fender arch.
