Well done Sam. So good to see a young fellow interested in old tractors. We have a ferguson which we have just restored. It's a fascinating hobby, and you learn so much as you go along. It's obvious water has got into the back end. There isn't an oil strainer, so any contaminated oil is drawn into the pump, and that is bad. However, don't despair, parts are plentiful and easily available. Take your time, enjoy it all, and keep putting your videos up.

Thank you for your support! You bet! The videos will be coming thick and fast soon. I’m trying to improve the videos as I have been saving the clips and am going to make a really good video of the whole process of refurbishing the cylinder head. I’ve only got the valves to be put in and it’s ready to be edited ! Yes you are 100% right. It was left with no seat and the seat spring bolts were missing leaving 2 holes in the top of the casting. That’s why let it fill up with water. Not to worry though. Just another aspect to dive into and film for UA-cam.

There should be a hydraulic fiction disc on the Silver metal disc that connects to the hydraulic lever

Thanks, I got home and looked in the manual, I'm also missing a few castle nuts and crush washers, thank you for your comment though. Really appreciated 👌🏻

hi your best bet is to send your engine number to the FOFH archives as they may have the serial number. Well done so far.

Thank you, I will try that. That's for the support! Keep checkijg back as I've just placed a big parts order and gotten all the bits needed to rebuild the engine on order!!
